hmm, about those part numbers.. as far as i'm aware.. they were made by a sub-division of nissan called Altia.. Altia separated from nissan in the late 90's.. I got told that story from one of the australian forums.. I done a little bit of research.. and as far as I could get.. I found that, Altia is now Faltec.. and they have no more indiglo parts left.. :(

Wow! some super-rare items Si!.. this really is a top find! I wouldn't mind getting my hands on the rear windows and the sills to complete the set.. because I already have the rear panel.. & I would love to be able to say i'll hopefully get some next time they become available.. but they are now few and far between :(

I know that Z009 is running this weekend and so is the Rising Sun car meet... I was just wondering if anyone is going to The Rising sun one anyways as I am and would like to see some other Zeds... Seems like a bit of a c0ck up with the organising having 2 events running on the same weekend like.. but nevermind..

so, if the turbo seals go.. can't you just get better newer ones?.. and the moral of the story seems ot be.. the newer/less miles the car is/has.. then generally the better the condition of the turbos are.. which seems kinda obvious.. my car has done 38,000 miles.. i'm hoping it should be fine to de-cat it.. how much if it all goes t1ts up?

I have recently bought a new exhaust and am thinking about de-catting it.. I have heard a few people mention about problems with doing this as it affects turbo-spooling... I'm guessing the standard exhaust has restricters in it and is all adjusted and set perfectly for the turbos.. so all I want to know is, how people get away with de-catting their twin turbo zeds, do they fit restricters in the de-cat pipes themselves to try and compensate? - Also, the AIV system... what is that for?.. and do I need it?.. I have one on mine, but i'm wondering about the legality of it..... can anyone tell of any tales of being in trouble with plod through having an EL panel? But for your problem I would try; -checking fuses drivers side fuse box -check for loose connections -check the wiring for voltage using volt meter but if you want a new inverter get this one from RS . item no. 267-8863. I know this one works, because I use it on mine. Hope this helps!

what is the purpose of this Aspirator fan anyways?.. does it actually do anything beneficial?.. i'm just assuming from what I have read that it does something with climate control?.. so does it detect what the temp is at the roof lining in the cabin and say for example you want.. 20 degrees.. and it detects it as being 15.. it will increase the amount of hot air around the car or something??.. hope i'm not hijacking the thread, but I'm assuming we all have these in our cars and it would be good to know what it is / does :D Cheers!

I am after a new exhaust system for my ZX LWB TT, I was wondering what the best options are, I am contemplating on getting a custom one made or just going for one of the Branded ones i.e. HKS. I know it's all down to personal preference, but does anyone have any info on which exhaust is proven to be the best overall?... Do X style make better gains than the H style? or is that just for looks?.. Is a single exit better than a twin? Finally, all the kits I look at never include a manifold, why is this?. Cheers!

1. What are the best brake pads to buy for the 300zx TT? - I know EBC do quite good brake pads, what are the forums thoughts on this? 2. What is so good about the skyline brake conversion I see many people talking about in contrast to the Z's stock brakes.. I would of thought since the Z is a bigger heavier and faster car than the skyline that the brakes would be better than the skylines.. or at least that's what would make sense.. 3. Why do some Z's not have a Spoiler and have a sort of flushed in black panel with a brake light in the centre where the decals normally go?.. is this an american thing? Thanks guys! :D

I want to change my main beams which are currently h3c's.. do i need an h3c hid kit?.. or will an h3 hid kit work and just be the same fitment?... also can you get all colour temp bulbs for each fitment/size?... and finally.. are they legal?

Can someone please tell me what kind of bulbs come in the 300zx; i.e. Headlights Side Lights Fog Lights High Beam are the headlights/ main beam h4's? and what are the others?.. please let me know, as i'm thinking about an HID kit for my main beams and was wondering if for example.. the main beams are h4's, do I get a kid which has h4 hid bulbs?.. i'm assuming thats how it works.. any advice would be useful cheers!

Just wanna say a big Thanks to Jeff & Jamie for helping me out with my 300zx today, the help and advice I got was absolute first class from the guys! 1. My windows, driver and passenger side have these little metal round things in the middle of which when you wind the windows down, they come into contact with the rubber seals and they are begining to perish.. is there a site or a shop or something where you can buy replacement ones? 2. Just below the rear Spoiler, there is the panel which I'm sure i've seen people putting brake lights into, this is also the same panel where my oem "Nissan Fairlady Z" sticker (which is starting to peel off) is. Where can you get a replacement one? and what is it made out of?.. it seems to be laminated or something and water is getting in behind it?.. That is the sticker and the panel 3. T-Top roof bags, are they essential?.. and if I bought the bags.. would I need some sort of straps to hold them down in the boot? do you keep them in the boot? 4. what i mean is that the pedal feels hard to push down; i.e. car at junction - no revs - go to push accelerator pedal down - pedal feels stiff/stuck and wont push down - i force it down and it clicks into power mode.. but it doesnt do it all the time.. i think you thought I meant that the pedal just sticks down and holds at open throttle..... any ideas?

When i am driving around and I have to stop at a juncion or whatever, sometimes when i go to accelarate away, the accelarator pedal feels like it's stuck but if i press down a little bit harder it unsticks and then the power light comes on ... it doesn't do this all the time, but it's really annoying... what could be causing it to want to go into power mode and for the accel pedal to suddenly stick a bit for me to force it down before i pulll away... any ideas guys?
