The Z Bug
Me not got the bug- me drive it every day- it gets dirty- it gets bumped and scratched- £60 goes through its fuel lines every week- I check the oil every....oh sh$t, think its time I done that! It has got a shiny tax disc holder and a glow in the dark plastic bat! But I know what you mean, if I had the cash for mods, I would be un-stoppable!

Only one.......... big litre bottle of San Miguel :duffer: Yum Think I also had 2 glasses of Red when I got in from work, but that was purely for medicinal purposes.

Now the dust has settled- I'm pretty sure I want to make a go of it big time at home on the Mrs's business. Look out for a Zed draped in thongs at Billing next year! If things get tough along the way, I'll cash in the endowments- they're pretty useless and were never gonna pay off the mortgage. Me already converted it all to repayment. And there is always the zed for the chop if things get really bad  NOoooooo!... I hear you all say... :slap: :nono: Lets just hope it makes me lots of dosh so I can transform the zed.

Just seen this new PUG
yea, me was thinking that- crossfire from the side- 350z/audi TT from the back and a cross between a lotus and a focus from the front. Got such a vivid imagination me! But I bet thats all the cars that inspired the bloke who designed it. They can keep the poo coloured leather though :p

worst thing is- I gave up the fags 6 weeks ago and boy do I need them now! Must admit- I was weak and smoked a packet of 10 last sunday night in Devon, but fook it- I was on me hols and I aint had one since. I also given up Stella too- me drinks Bud now- less chemicals and less hangover. Still got about 10 litres of that St Vincent 80% rum to get through. I bet if I put it in the zed it would be better than nitrous!!

Nah- we be lucky and rank top on loads of words and phrases. Problem with words like lingerie is that you get a lot of picture browsing folk looking. We get about 100,000 hits a day, but only sell a few items. I agree on the going permy thing. If I took a permy job, I would still look at it as a contract. The worst thing is if you get made redundant over 50+ years old and then folk find it hard to get a job. I dont want to end up in that situation, so own business is ideal as you can stay earning til the day you die (as long as you got folk you trust running it by then). Meanwhile I've decided if a good contract comes up, I'll take it. But if all I get offered is crap money, I'd rather risk making a go of it at home. Thanks for all the support guys- this place is great! Start as I mean to go on for my last few weeks- off down the pub for lunch now:duffer:

Good stuff Scoops! SEX SELLS!! Its a great business to be in if ya an old perv like me. No problem on the thongs- she buys em in in bulk from France. Have a look at em and let me know if saucy enough http://www.delicates.co.uk Hopefully we can sort out a price where you can still make a good bit of money on. Me was thinking of doing a similar thing to you- starting another site that sells the more novelty stuff. Theres a place in east london where you can get stuff so cheap, you can make about 300% profit! I'll see if I can dig out their details. Send me over the link and I'll have a butchers at your site.

Me have neglected the old qualifications over past few years- only an old MCSE in NT with general Novell experience with a sprinkling of W2K. Will be washed up soon if I dont watch out. Thats why the business sounds better as no one judging you and what ya bung in, ya get out! Will probabably do a rollout or two and play it from there.

Me not too sure whats going on at the moment-I think its pretty much as crap as its been for a while now- £12 per hour for a general grunt or £20k per year for slave labour. Me been lucky as been on good rate for past two years so I guess thats what makes it harder to bare. I think these days for the good jobs- its who you know, not what you know. So hopefully one of my IT geek buddies will bail me out. Still seriously thinking about making a real go of it on the website alone to support the family and home. Just gotta get some serious marketing stuff in place and keep the costs down. Any positive ideas on how to sell more thongs??

Today... get called into bosses office... and hear those words you just dont want to hear... 'Sorry AL, gonna have to let you go' - Nice xmas prezzy eh! Me was totally and utterly gutted- been absolutely slaving my arz off for them bastds for past 2 years, and things there worse than ever with short staffing and overworked. Maybe they bled me dry and they're done with me. Been in IT contracting 6 years now and had many contracts come and go but it dont get any easier when they decide you've had your time. Worse thing is I feel I have been stabbed in the back by some fekkas. Lets hope its a blessing in disguise and summit good comes out of it. Tempted to join the misses in the thong business, but no dosh to keep afloat over xmas as she invested all her dosh in stock and adverts. Maybe new year eh. Meanwhile, better look for that next bit of work or we'll all be sleeping in the zed this Xmas

Zed does South Coast
Back from my little de-stress getaway- just me and the zed. Spent 2 days touring and stopped at every town between Torquay and Weymouth. Hightlights- spotting a nice GTR, finding a place called Beer and the cliff-top coast road down into Weymouth. Lowlights- smashing my fron bumper in Torquay multi-storey car park. Luckily sounded worse than it was. Just more paint flaked off  GTR (anyone know whos this is?) Beer: Dunebuggy anyone? Portland Nick Chesil view Coast road So tempted to take a month off and just carry on round the whole coast :( Back to work now and cr^p as ever :(

I have come out the closet
we do this sort of stuff at work. We use Groupwise for email and what you can do is in the senders name field (i.e. your own name) put loads of spaces in front of the name so that it dissapears off the end of the box. Then type in me mates name and send an email to the boss decalring his un-dying love for him! Its great until the boss looks at the properties of the mail and find out its me and proceeds to give me a ballacking :D I guess you can also do this on Outlook- spoofing the address so it appears as if it comes from somone else.

1st One ever! The Bast^$&*
You're right there as the car probably wasnt registered to me then but a few weeks before I had sent and signed the form saying that I bought he car back in March so shot myself in the foot there. Shame, I could have stiched up the feckas I bought the car off. I expect they have been trying to track me down since. But now I have a log book that says I got the car back in March so dont have a leg to stand on. I did look at most of the get out tricks on the web, but this new form seems to stop all that. I bet If I tried to fight it, I'd end up with massive court costs. The only way we could all beat them is for everyone in the country to contest the tickets, then the system would collapse! But me like everyone else dont want to be the first sacrificial one to protest and get hit with fines. So I guess that will never happen. Better start getting quotes for the zed insurance to see if I can afford it in the new year.

1st One ever! The Bast^$&*
Received mine today and it was dated time of the offence as 1st Sept. What do reckon lads? Can Aaron get me let off on this one?

1st One ever! The Bast^$&*
Cheers guys. I know I was going too fast, but it was for all of about 3 seconds and TBH- on that 4 lane stretch of busiest road in Reading, if there are any pedestrians playing there and not using the pelican crossings, they would deserve to be run over. Its not an accident black spot, so its definitely a money making stealth tax plan. This particular van made the headlines a while back as being the top money-making camera in the country. Shame they cant move it 3 miles north onto the road into Reading where at least 6 people die every year and many more injured on A4074- dubbed 'The 7 Bends of Death' There are usually crosses placed on each bend! I'm starting to rant now- it must be sinking in that its gonna cost me £60 now and probably more than that each year for the next 3 years on insurance. :(

What do you think ?
what pee's me off is to having to see the piles of rubbish they leave behind and yea, we taxpayers are paying the council to clean it up

1st One ever! The Bast^$&*
 :( :slap: :nono: After 16 years of driving I finally get my 1st ever speeding ticket. The rozzers got me with one of them mobile money making vans a month ago on the Kings Road, Reading. I do remember the day too, I saw a nice gap ahead in the traffic and the old duffer in front was plodding along at 20mph or something like that, so I blipped the old zed pedal and whizzed past a couple of cars in the right hand lane and then saw the camera van- it must have been at least 150 yards ahead, so banged on the anchors and assumed I got away with it. But them new van cameras must have some fancy zoom lens! So beware lads. They got me at 48 in a 30 which I am ashamed about so I'll take my £60 fine and 3 points like a man. Had better screw work for a few extra hours pay ;)
