Out cruzin today and slowly passed a 200SX with a possee of lads in it going the other way. As I glanced in the rear view, the 3 chavs in that back were looking back at me zed with tonges drooling. :xxx: Ok, that was unfair to brand them chavs, as they could be next-gen Z drivers :x:

For me: 40 miles a day for 5 days a week = 1 Tank :cry: Usually optimax, but had to put some expensive BP s h i t e in it the other day from dry and it was close on £60 for a tank! :cry:

Yea, me always wondered what that was like, but always too afraid to spend the money and try it. I guess we're happy with our position and I dont have to do any optimisation these days. It seems to look after itself now. Cant get anywhere with Inktomi, they just dont like my site. Which means I dont do well on MSN, Yahoo etc. Dont know what I've done wrong. But who cares as long as Google likes the site thats what counts. Do you know much about affiliate marketing? That is the next thing I'd like to try. All our competitors are doing it. Also, what about pay per click? Have you done much with that? I'm hoping we can give it the final push this Xmas so I can give up contracting and work from home helping her run the show. yep, I know that feeling. When I was exchanging links, I was up till 2 in the morning every night for over a month. Probably sent out over 1000 mails. Thats the boring bit. But I dont think Ryan will need to go quite as mad as that, just get his site listed in a few key places and try and swap links with other zed related sites should do the trick. What I'll do is start a thread in the private discussion area, and post up my tips there. As there are a few web heads on here, perhaps you can all add to it, as I am always on the lookout for new tips.

it takes a few months to see any good results on the search engines and longer to be the best. But I reckon for zed related stuff there should not be much competion. Just done a search on '300zx engineers' and google came back with 252 results. In my case if I search for 'lingerie' I get 3.9 million results and we're at position 3 on page 1 :dance: Its great beating the bigboys at their own game. I'll send AL's secret tips to anyone who want em as long as you aint in the undies business :D

No probs geeza. It doesnt happen overnight, but worth putting the effort in to get a good search position. Managed to get my misses's site towards the top on page one for her chosen keyword- 'lingerie' ;) . She gets a good few orders a week from Google. I'll email you the most important stuff over. AL

Got them brakes done today. Decided to get someone to fit the pads for me. £75 labour- not too bad I thought as they also cleaned through the brake lines and changed the fluid. Didnt need those 2nd hand front disks I got from Lee, so if anyone needs em, they're yours for £20 + shipping. Not much fun driving it at the moment as takes half a mile to stop! :shock: Better take it easy for the next few miles till they bed in.

I still buy the the same amount of albums each month as I did 10 years ago. I also download lots of stuff too. Nothing has change really, I still make my contribution, only my music collection is bigger these days! ;)

I wonder if he just stuck stamps on them or got recorded/special delivery. If you pay the little extra on the post, you get insurance and the PO will pay out to the value of the goods. Personally, I would deffo refund my buyer in this case.
