Well collected my car from Ztech on thursday night, and a big thanks to Ryan at Ztech for all the work carried out. :bow: I have just had fitted JWT 530bb turbos Nismo 555 Unorthodox pulley JD chip Fast road auto box The chip needs setting up but im very impressed with the spool up on these turbos as full boost comes on at about 3k. Only running 11 psi at the moment and it pulls very well.

i know its a change of subject and car type, but how did you do in the e38 show and shine?

Cheers for the info guys. I was going to make a circuit that will disconnected the alternator when the engine is running in positive boost so the time it wouldnt be charging would be a short length of time. I was mainly worried about damaging the alternater. Im going to be getting an underdrive pulley as well

If i disconnect the exiter wire for the alternator while the engine is running. will it; 1. stop charging the battery 2. damage the alternator in anyway Just got a little idea that I could remove the load from the alternator when in positive boost

Ye use a 1 MEG resistor instead of the sensor that sorted it out for me.

while searching the net for information about turbocharging a 2 stroke i came accross this http://www.absoluteastronomy.com/encyclopedia/t/tu/turbocharger.htm I thought for any one who doesnt know how a turbo works and would like to know it could be useful. it also has a lot of info about engines. Also i didnt manage to find out if a 2 stroke petrol engine can be turboed if anyone knows can you let me know. Cheers Eddie

I MIGHT be able to make it saturday i have been told i might have to work this weekend and i cant take a sicky its double time

may sound like a silly question but could it damage the box by fitting one of these if you dont get it rebuilt first.
