1. Is there a " how to" remove and replace these please?.
2. Took mine off at the weekend, just the same. careful with a rubber mallet and an old chisel and no damage to the boot surface.See what the problem is with the hidden white plastic clips.
3. Has anybody fitted a fibreglass tailgate lower skin to a LWB after removing the factory abortion. I need to know that it blends in with the bodywork and does not crack when the boot is slammed down, the colour is met. black. cheers.
4. I have replaced both targa seals short one and long one that goes arount the targa top, It still leaks when it throws it down. I found the problem area was the right angle where the rubber goes around the top edge of the windscreen. clean it with thinners and when or if it ever stops freezing or raining, pack the area with black windscreen sealent making sure that you leave the drain hole clear. I found this was the problem area. Goog luck.
5. They are all more or less the same, just get the polarity right.
6. Will check when I can get into the car again, iced out at the moment.
7. I see your reasoning now, thanks for that, will try again with a lower setting. Cheers.
8. I've set the temp at 40 and although the heater is pushing out warm air it is only at my feet. Is there no way to re direct it to the door vents and the facia vents?
9. How do I get hot air through the facia and door vents ?
10. Have a look at the photo in the for sale thread, there are no markings on the pipes or silencer, so I dont know who the manufacturer is.
11. The only markings are on the 02 sensors and are Nissan. I dont know about the pipework. how does £60.00 sound collected.
12. Have a look at these for style ! http://www.style-your-garage.com/us/?id_lc=15
13. I have a spare set for sale on here with 02 sensors and turbo elbows fitted.
14. Spent the weekend finding the same leak. Took off the small targa seal and thoroughly cleaned , as it is new. Removed the s/steel rail that it sits in this was filthy and had water at the back. replaced and sat it in with clear bath sealant, then removed long door/targa top seal and saw that the problem was at the 90 degree angle near the front pillar. cleaned everything and sat the 90 degree rubber part in clear sealant , gently placed the tatga roof back and left in the dry overnight, this pushed out some sealant but Hey presto today no leaks.
15. I did outer and inner joints, much heat applied, plastic around melted but eventually after coaxing with a hammer all came out. Good luck.
16. Done that, what reading should I see on a healthy sensor at 2000rpm?
17. On the screen it only shows one sensor, which one is that ?
18. I am running a test on the Blitz datascan, what sould the reading be on tickover 750rpm. The screen is showing 10 on the scale and only moves slightly when revved. Is this only one side of the o2 system ?
19. Its a LWB model so it will be behind the rear driver side seat in the boot, thanks.
20. Can somebody tell me how to access this on a 1990 tt auto please, as I want to replace the brake fluid.
21. Just done mine, cleaned them and put them straight back on . The drivers side started to leak at the top between the targa and the a pillar. i have re seated the seals with DumDum and this seems to have done the trick, that part of the roof joint now feels tight when the targa is clipped in. So DumDum appears to work.
22. talk to your local planning conservation officer, he will be your best friend, believe me.
23. My clan anybody identify this?
