  8. I thought it was strange, however this guy appears legitimate, he is coming over on the train and is paying in cash, £ notes, he is also arranging for the vehicle to be licensed across there. The point about it being worth while travelling here for a right hand drive car is well made , I can only assume that he is starting a collection and yes they are cheaper here. he seems to know the game and is a professional journalist, so live and learn.
  9. The car was imported from Japan 1n 2003 but unfortunatly when I bought it I was not given any import paper work.
  10. So the current MOT is not required, or a certificate of conformity from Nissan Europe ?
  11. I have a contact in Northern France who wishes to purchase my car, which is a japanese import to the UK in 2004. He then wishes to drive it back to France and register the vehicle there in his name. What documents will I need to supply to him ?

  18. Can some tell me why my import has -7 to +7 on the boost gauge instead of 14 ?
  19. Give it rub over with some old engine oil.
  20. I was always told to leave the leads on for ten minutes after you have jumped it off to allow the alternater to settle, the damage is usually done to the diode pack on the rear of the alternator when the leads are removed.
  21. Check the spring contact at the back of the bulb, mine was corroded out of site, when sandpapered and vasalined it was fine.
  22. I still have a badly leaking targa panel on the drivers side, tried everything but now suspect that the whole thing leaks. Has anybody got a non leaking targa panel preferably somewhere in the Midlands.
  23. Can anyone tell me if you need to take off the door card to lift the height of the drivers window on the adjuster ?
  24. Thanks Baz for the help Saturday, the targa panel fits perfect and guess what , no drips, another example of the help and assistance received from members of this forum. Keep up the good work and all the best for your future plans.:wheelchair:
