Don't get me wrong the BMW and Audi are really, really nice cars and a bit mental but I would never say they get the WOW factor like a muscle Jap car does. :slap:

Sounds like me 5 miles from the M1 east bound...... dead MAF and mushroom filter

I was driving down the A14 this morning and lost all power, I was blocking 1 lane and this is pretty scary on the A14, lorries were only noticing me at the last min...:eek: Anyway the AA came out, did what they could but could not find the fault. Rang Zedworld to get the car recovered there and to see about getting sorted this week, arrived to a very welcoming cup of coffee and jam and toast and they did a quick check and found that the mushroom filter had fallen to bits and blocked the MAF, after bit's of filter and plenty of water going through the MAF it was finished for. Anyway new MAF fitted and temporary filter fitted an ECU check and also a trim that fits in the front bumper (to stop the spray getting the filter) and it is now good as new :nana2: Thanks to everyone at Zedworld for your super service and putting me back on the road in excellent time.

After breaking down today and getting towed to the garaged, found out my mushroom filter had crumbled and contaminated (and the road spray) and damaged my MAF, new MAF fitted and all is good :)

Good evening, I had an issue on Friday when one of the pipes off the balance bar split and was to brittle to repair. Managed to replace the pipe and now have a power issue. When I apply 1/4 to 3/4 throttle it seems as if somthing is starving or a negative effect and the car starts hezitating and feels just like when you are running out of fuel. Any ideas? ;)

Mine is doing the same sort of thing, just used nearly a full tank of Shell V power (or what ever it is called).... :wack: And only while I am ready for the fuel light to come on is it just not right and seems to be revving a little higher for about 10 secs

Had it plugged in and checked about 6 weeks ago and all came back fine, could probably do with jumping in another twin turbo auto but I am getting a lower reading on the boost gauge :cry: Will run a check again tomorrow to see if the ECU is throwing anything out.

Well seems that I am only hitting about 6psi on full throttle now. So looks like a visit to Zedworld in the new year. I think I may have a leak somewhere :( is there any really obvious places to check ?

Yippeeee I am at home from tomorrow until the 6th of Jan. Always flipping at airports, eating like a king and sleeping in lardy dar hotels. 2 weeks of not missing connection flights, lost luggage or stupid customers :hyper:

Well setting off to Romania today (:wack:). With a broken laptop, the top brass really think in strange ways. Nice wind down for the Christmas holidays and just pray I don't get snowed in. Least one good thing, cheap cigs and beer for a few days plus bring some back for the festive period :nana2:
