  3. It is a stand alone system everything plugs into the amp/ processor all I have to do is power it up :hyper:
  4. Do you have much space between the grill and I presume the glass when the window is down?
  5. I have had a few good audio set-ups in my previous cars but am toying with a new idea. Instead of the usual couple of amps, big sud and comp speakers I have a Altec Lansing 4.1 THX cert system in my attic, this has the built in processer so a single stereo feed can be converted to Prologic, Quad, Digital surround and so on, that I am going to retrofit into the car, the cool thing is that it produces an excellent balance of sound with no distortion. Just waiting for some bits to come through the post before I can get started, sounds a bit odd but what this space, I am going to try and fit this in and keep the stock look (apart from the Sub and processor but this will go in the boot). Keep you posted :wack:
  6. Hi I want to remove the front speakers, can I get them out without taking the door card off? The grills seem to be pretty well held in place, I just want to remove the grill and speaker to chaeck for space for a new audio project I am playing with. :hyper:

Just having a look today and noticed that I have 2 blanking plates on my dash under the main clocks, I have seen on pics that these display things on other cars, one is on the left side of the wheel the other on the right. I also have a blanking plate on the other side of the steering wheel (opposite side to the indicator/ main beam stalk).
