  1. M1 north bound on a Friday is nasty at the best of times, didn't want to join the brake light billies.... but got to hear the BOV's a few times (Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeetttttt).
  2. Just drove 200 miles in the Zed today and people were gorping at me as I was cruising at 60mph...
  3. Had my first shacky ass today, coming of the A14 onto the M1 n/b on the slip road. hit a small bump car lost traction and back gave a little shake till I reduced power, the 5 series that was up my arse backed off a bit : )
  4. Sounds like a plan, there are plenty of nice places around there : )
  5. Cool, the misses is at work from 12, so anytime after that for me, I am easy on location
  6. Hi, Not sure if this is the correct way but correct me if I am wrong :x: Anyone about Saturday afternoon ?? I am located around Ashbourne, Derbyshire. Would like to meet up with other local owners
  7. My Zed is my daily drive (had to get a jap car with 4 seats though), the misses has a Grand Scenic with a 1.6 power house......!!!!!!!
  8. That is just mind blowing (what a numpty).
  9. I have a graphics card (ATI 1800xt) and also XP (not a copy) with license and a sound card I would be happy to donate : )
  10. I am not to keen on it but wouldn't mind some of the parts though : )
  11. Bit of an odd question (after reading everyone disconnecting their's) but can you Retro-Fit cruise control to the 300zx?? And if so what would be required (bit of a long shot I know :wack:).
  12. I had a quick run today and the boost (with a heavy foot is hitting 0.5 kg/m^2 = about 7psi.... I take it that this is on safety boost?
  13. it is just odd and you have to ask...... why????
  14. Welcome from another new import owner
  15. Congrats - I will stop ignoring these people on a week by week basis
  16. I think it was this-
  17. I had one (and a few other Honda's) and the VTEC engines are excellent (twin profile cams) just stomps to the limiter with no slow down, I had to get rid due to a relationship split : ( They (as most high performance cars) will check the entire system (oil temp, pressure and a gazillion other perameters) before you let the horse's out. Honda engines (and build quality) are exceptional and (as like with any other Jap car) last forever if serviced correctly. The only reason I did not get one this time round is that there is nothing in the region of the 2+2's - like the 300zx, GTO or Supra.
  18. Thanks just had a quick Google and: 1 kg/m^2 = 14.224 psi So will check tomorrow what she is running at.
  19. Hi, Whilst driving the car today, I have been monitoring the boost guage (does not have a stock one on) I have an after market HKS one. My question is that I have read the buyers guide and done a quick search but I just need to know what the guage should be reading as it is in- mmHg upto O.O then in Kg/cm2
  20. Hi edk83, bad weekend for me, have some friends coming down from York tomorrow and stayting over (Megane 7 seater coming out..) but will deffo be up for something the weekend after (I am away with work Mon to Fri).
  21. I had a Nissan Primera with the reg plate of: - 9TU This was valued at £25,000 (sold for £) If I remeber correctly, is all press photo's of Astin Martins have a TU reg plate. Only paid about 5% of the value of it (I even informed the owner of the car that I was buying from but was just after some fast cash). :wack:
  22. Hi and thanks to everyone's comments  I will check on the tyres and the protection for winters ;) The HKS Super Dragger exhaust is just something that I like and when Kate was following me, commented on how it sounded pretty good  Apart from it could do with a dust over with paint to make the bodykit match perfectly with the body, there is a little ding on the front wing (just in front of the wheel), small dent in front of the rear wheel (both on the passenger side) and all the wheels are mint apart from the drivers side rear (been kerbed ). The rear spoiler is growing on me :wack:
  23. My first plan (or the misses say's) is to replace the horn, it is to say the least weedy.
