  3. Hi, Got a router at Xmas, so as the daughter can use her laptop upstairs etc, A week later and I am still struggling with it. :headvswal Got it as far as its installed on the main computer, (I think) It asked for the Network key on my daughters laptop, which we typed in and now it says there is limited or no connectivity, due I think to it asking for a new ISP address ?? We are with Telewest Broadband, Router is a Linksys, Compact Wireless-G Broadband Router. Driving me up the wall !! :headvswal
  4. Was in the car when I got it mate. Must be original tho, coz it is a perfect fit and has the nissan stamp on it. Alan........
  5. Cheers Karl, This might be on the cards later this year !! :) Alan..........
  6. Should have mentioned, the reason I kept it over to the right hand side was for 2 reasons. 1. It keeps it in line with the clock. 2. Being a J spec, my fog-light switch will be going next to it. Also I will be cleaning the pencil marks off the vinyl !! Will take better pics if you need in the daylight with it finished. Will also be finishing off the vinyl trim that the previous owner started ! Alan...............
  7. Hi mate, Sorry for the crappy pics, but hope it helps. Wires hanging down are from the aforementioned timer. Just in from work and took the pics, its minus 6 already !!! Alan.......
  8. I am just fitting mine today. Have cut, very neatly, the detachable panel below the stereo. A popular place is just to the right or left of the steering column, on the piece of trim you have to remove to accress the bottom of the dash. Could photo mine tomoz if its any help ? Alan..........
  9. Have a beer tonight mate and celebrate ! :duffer: Alan.
  10. I know if such things happen up here in our town, an offer of a free carry out, small wad of cash or similiar, normally produces a name !! ;) Best thing to do is breakdown where thet hang about, engage them in conversation and pop the question !!! Car amazingly re-starts and hey presto !! Worth a few quid for revenge, retrieval etc. Normally they aint that loyal and will grass for a reward. Alan.....

  15. Cheers guys, Put the key in the drivers lock and it only unlocks the drivers door. Same if you are sitting inside and work the lock, only the drivers side works. This is the same with the passenger side. No remote system fitted (yet) Will make a start this weekend. Any further suggestions, much obliged. Alan..........
  16. Dont know if this will be any interest to you. My mate bought a front bumper from him before, and it was a pretty good fit and a high finish. Needed a small amount of work to fit properly, but nothing major. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7983195123&ssPageName=MERC_VI_ReBay_Pr4_PcY_BIN_Stores_IT Alan.......

  20. Hi, Central locking not working from inside the car or outside. Before I start to investigate, is there any common causes for this ?? Fuses, (1st choice) or relays, switch etc. Any pointers would be gratefully appreciated. Cheers, Alan......
  21. Feels good, dont it ?? :) Took mine out today, round the shop. Didnt need to as the works van, my daughters car and my Vectra were all there. But really icy roads and wee narrow streets lets you drift away to your hearts content without doing your tyres in !! :D Alan......
