Travelled from Airdrie to Brighton to pick up my new Zed about 4 or 5 weeks ago, via the M6 toll road. On the way down we went through about 1.00pm and on the way back it was about 8.00pm. Went through the full toll road about 60-70 on the way down, but was 70-80 on the way back as the road was not busy ! Mitsi Animal with a trailer towing a Camaro there and a Zed back home. Aint got nothing through so far !! ;) Alan....................

Paid quite a few bucks for my Sony ones. Rechargeable etc. I can leave the house, walk up to the shed about 13 mtrs from the house, fanny about till the cd`s run out and then come back in and change the cd`s !! Well worth the money !! :D Alan........

Damn, Way past 11.30 now mate, too much alcohol going down here !! :duffer: Well, I am Scottish !! :) It is a Dell Inspiron 6000 and is Centrino. Any hoo, when we switch it on and it goes through its start up procedure, it says nothing. Upon restart, there is a new wee icon in the bottom right side of the screen. Its a wee pc symbol with 2 gren wavey lines coming off it. It says; Wireless network connection (Linksys) Speed 54.0mbps, Signal strength, excellent, Status, connected. Still no internet connection. :confused: Alan...

Yes the desktop is hardwired through the router. I have tried setting up a home or small office network, no luck. All the firewalls have been disabled, as said the Telewest Rep. The laptop seems to be trying to conect to the internet connection provided by the desktop but when it tries it says that it is trying to renew the IP address and is unable to do so. Any more advice would be appreciated, Alan........

Tells us on the laptop that the isp address needs renewing but when it tries, it is unable to do so ?? Alan.....

PC idiot here ! :) How do I check the IP address ?? Should the new laptop have the same as the home pc? What is mac address filtering ??? :rolleyes: Sorry mate, can change a drivers side turbo with the engine in, but find this all kinda confusing ? :) Idiot proof instructions are whats needed here. The Pillsbury Doughboy died yesterday of a yeast infection and trauma complications from repeated pokes in the belly. He was 71. Doughboy was buried in a lightly greased coffin. Dozens of celebrities turned out to pay their respects, including Mrs.Butterworth, Hungry Jack, the California Raisins, Betty Crocker, the Hostess Twinkies, and Captain Crunch. The grave site was piled high with flours. Aunt Jemima delivered the eulogy and lovingly described Doughboy as a man who never knew how much the was kneaded. Doughboy rose quickly in show business, but his later life was filled with turnovers. He was not considered a very smart cookie, wasting much of his dough on half-baked schemes. Despite being a little flaky at times he still was a crusty old man and was considered a roll model for millions. Doughboy is survived by his wife Play Dough, two children, John Dough and Jane Dough, plus they had one in the oven. He is also survived by his elderly dad, Pop Tart.
