  1. i was about to say a missfire pete sparkplugs been replaced lately? go with some nissan do ngkpfr11b off the top of my head. its likely to be either intermittant PTU, dodgy coilpack or connector, replace the sparkplugs as a service item. Then go from there, always a PM away if you need advice or ideas? ;)
  2. god luck bud, whats up anyway? amount of times iv thrown a handbag or two! still post here mate, iv not owned a z for a year or so, but met a few people and it goes further than a car IMO all the best

  4. neither would i! its an option ;)
  5. Input shaft bearing bud unfortunatly Noise will occur with clutch pedal up if its an iput If noise appears with pedal down its just the clutch release bearing Either put up with the noise, which to be fair wont harm the gearbox and should last for many miles without issues, or rebuild /replacment gearbox. as david said check the gators under the console are not split/loose and replace if so as it can cause a similar noise as air rushes up between the transmission tunnel to answer your question you can drive the car with a worn input bearing as you have replaced the oil it should last for thousands of miles, turn the stereo up for now. HTH greg

no real run in on bottom end just take it easy for the first few miles, if it happens again it will mean your crank has had it bud, they can take some abuse but it would suggest another failure would mean new or re ground crank a small amount of moly lube is important for the bearings it aids early wear by protecting it for the first couple of rotations running in is one of those theory's that has some people swear by and others drive as you would and not had any issues!, I think its always good to bed engines in to some extent, cant hurt can it, just make sure you use the revs otherwise that in itself can do harm to a new engine by driving like miss daisy :smash: as you have done the bottom end, theres no harm in rebuilding your own engine, it shows you have confidence in your ability, maybe next task is a rebuild :duffer: all the best

  15. the sumps not that great a design for drifting/tracking seen a few bottom ends go on tracks similar thing happens to motorbikes when wheeling etc oil leaves its main area of lubrication and with the heat it kills bearings quick
  16. xbox 360, mainly due to the amount of games, sometimes glitchy on games especially if its been on for long intervals more than an hour LOL and noisy, made worse by the extra cooling fan installed at the back :wack:
