  1. Those little auto tubs are going to be well out of their efficiency island at that pressure. and I highly doubt they will last any length of time either. You would be best talking to Noz about what pressure to go to, and getting them mapped for that, as extra boost without extra fuel can= blown engine
  2. I always meant to say that last time I subbed, I never got my kit :(
  3. yeah they are really nice wheels, in a decent size they would look good on a zed. Ask on driftworks, there are a lot of wheel whores over there !
  4. the only thing they would fit proper is a tractor ! look at the silly amount of camber they have dialled in just to get them to fit !
  5. Welcome along. I would be careful using aircraft wiring. It is high quality but after I asked a mate ( aircraft electrician) he warned me its not a good idea.
  6. welded in place I think, need to cut and reweld a new one in IIRC
  7. I wont be in a Zed at first, but pretty soon I will have toolboxtrevs white one :)
  8. Yeah Somerset, working at Agusta Westlands on the lynx. Nah not relocating, im a sub contractor so work for a month or two then back home for a week.
  9. If anyone wants there zeds welded I will do it, I don't mind travelling and will be working in Yeovil soon. You seen the one I repaired and that was a shit job using sheet steel and a hammer !
  10. Im sure it can be tidied up with a few hundred quid thrown at it. - - - Updated - - - actually 1200 quid for an NA in that state is a bit much !
  11. yup, just don't rev the engine and let it run for 15-20 mins and keep an eye on the temps etc :)
  12. I thought I was subbed :S I will sort that out shortly but if there is demand I don't mind setting up a GB, shouldn't cost more than 20 quid including materials
  13. ahhh gotcha, if there is a demand I can tig an extra pipe onto the auto ones for a small fee
  14. I did it with my old v8 soarer, after flushing the engine through 4 times I got all the shit outta the engine. After that the oil looked brand new 4 months later when I crashed it lol.
  15. if you want to do a flush, use a mixture of diesel and gearbox oil roughly 70/30. Guy called smiffie who runs the Soarer Sanctuary has been doing this to 1jzgte and 1uzfe engines for years and it really cleans the crud out of an engine and the oil is golden for ages afterward
  16. can I ask what the difference between the two is ?
  17. that's not too bad, depends on the pipe though, the ones under the diff are a nightmare !!!!
  18. fingers crossed for you, its one of those things that no matter how sure you are the buggers can always find something stupid to fail you on :(
  19. I have bought quite a few cars, having imported about 7 myself
  20. NIIIIICE ! Id love to build a zed into a dedicated track car, but all my spare cash goes to other things :(
  21. Actually that's not required, the car would not have been released without payment of VAT and duty.
  22. probably watching that one on ebay without the docs. Unless your gonna break for parts or use as a track car your wasting your time
  23. 150 quid is for the complete shebang, calipers, discs and pads. The GTR stuff is preferable but harder to get a hold of
  24. I went for R33 gtst brakes, can pick up good condition stuff for under 150 quid and they are larger by 20mm and lighter as they use a good quality alloy in those castings
