  1. Me too, I have never seen it either.
  2. generally smoking and starting to whine. no damage to blades etc or anything. I can get them rebuilt for 400 quid for the pair, whereas getting them modded will cost at least double that and not yield the same possible gains.
  3. just makes it easier to smush the buggers to death !
  4. Ok, I have three worn t28r's sitting in my shed. Has anyone actually fitted t28's to their car ? I know the housing needs clocked on one, the actuator needs a bracket and you need 5 bolt downpipes. Other than that what do I need and where can I get it :) cheers
  5. Since your local I would pay the garage a visit. I have used him a few times and its always been a pleasure. a few times he has done work free of charge just because !
  6. driftworks ones are bloody good quality
  7. why, we don't know the events leading up to the breakage. he could have a large kerb he bumps up everyday for all we know, without knowing the entire facts blatantly stating that one is right is being imperceptive of the whole.
  8. Highlighted because x axis impacts CAN happen and dismissing it because the y axis stress is more common is a bit daft
  9. And why not the x axis, if your wheel hits something then you put force along the x axis !
  10. The pic is not the best quality, but they looks cast rather than billet. And yes the break would have been caused by stress on the x or y axis. OP are they cast or billet ?
  11. I know flanges do not just break off, I deal with metal everyday of work. But pics don't lie. maybe the spacers are not the correct Nissan centre bore
  12. Looking at the pic you can see they were hubcentric, and the spigot portion looks to have broke off. Causing the torsional stress on the studs. If you want good ones then the ones suggested above are top notch quality.
  13. they are cheap made crap. With something like that you don't want to skimp !
  14. For anyone in Scotland who cant/wont make the journey try The Garage in Motherwell. Marc Lite is very good at what he does, and has been working on zeds/skylines for a looong time :)
  15. a basic turbo rebuild from turbo dynamics is 200 quid as long as it just needs seals etc. but then you need to take out the engine to get the turbos off !
  16. I can help you import one of you like. Can get a really good import for about 4-5k
  17. cool, club spirit at its best :)
  18. nope,it would be a cut and reweld job
  19. He is talking about the front crossmember where the rad is sited, not the front subframe ;)
  20. looks like tweety pie was killed on your engine lol
  21. 1: I don't know about the cambelt price, but I don't think its that expensive from a specialist. 2: I think MJP can source the crossmembers. 3:Orange gunk is just corrosion in the coolant system, give it a good flush through if you buy it.
  22. is this midnight purple ? I have always wanted a zed in midnight purple !
