What is the best but cheapest brake upgrade?
Agreed mate, I just got the seals from big redd and did the work myself. Stuck some Stillen discs and pads on courtesy of Mr F and the jobs a good un.

Pedal position
aah, no. It's held on by 4 nuts to the booster and a bolt right at the top of the hinge bracket. Plus the clevis pin of course.. It's a pig of a job though, i'm afraid.

Pedal position
And a return spring and clevis pin. The point I was trying to make is that you will find it very hard to get hold of just the pedal and if you do it will probably cost just as much as a s/h pedal box would. It's also easier just unbolting the old and bolting a new one than it is to change the pedal only. Just trying to help.

Pedal position
How else do you suggest fixing it then? By pedal box I mean the pedal and bracket assembly that holds it onto the booster.

Pedal position
Think your going to have to bite the bullet and replace it for a good pedal box mate. Zedworld should be able to sort you out with a s/h one.

Pedal position
Can't think of a single reason why it would be like that then. I was thinking that if it had been converted, the person that did it got fed up trying to put the pedal on and bent it to make it easier..lol The only ways that I can think that would make it like that are; The actual pedal shaft has been bent or the holes through the firewall have been elongated to allow the whole assembly to be twisted. Is there any play in the pedal?

Pedal position
There's backwards and forwards adjustment via the brake booster but no side to adjustment mate. That's been bent that way. Did your zed used to be an auto?
-
Pedal position
I'm surprised that you managed to get the car through a MOT with that. I always thought that the pedals have to have a minimum gap of 5cm between each pedal by law.

Flippin fedex duty/taxes charge
It's a bit sucky mate, but Fedex helped you out by paying the duties on your order so that it doesn't get held up in customs. It would probably still be in an HMRC warehouse if they hadn't.

Norovirus
Day 3... And I'm still going strong, can't even keep down a tin of chicken noodle soup. And I swear that each time I get an attack of the runs, it comes out so fast you can hear a sonic boom.

re sizing images for upload
MS Paint free with any version of windows. Just load your image into it and select resize. Make sure you have the aspect ration box ticked and just select a new size. 1024 for the x (Width) dimension is a good size for the forum. The Y size (Height) will be set automatically.
