Sounds like the new pot was restricting the flow. Was the filter cage ok in the pot?

I'm no expert, but I can't see why not. The cc switch is an on/off like the fogs, so should be just a case of tracing the wires from the switch and connect to the fogs.

I've been sleeping like sh!te for ages because of a duff mattress. I would ache all day and not look forward to going to bed as I knew I wouldn't sleep. Finally pulled my finger out and bought a new one and the difference is amazing, can sleep all day now :D

There's a button on the right hand pod same as the jdm. Only difference is the uk doesn't have front fogs

I'd like to know this too. If got a z1 lock out kit but no instructions :(. Can work out how the mechanical bits go but I'm not sure about the fluid parts.

Have a look and see if the boost pipe has come off the sender. It's located on the drivers side inner wing near the brake master cylinder

Have to say; That zed looks a very nice tidy example and worth the 4k. You could easily spend over that just bringing a cheaper zed up to that standard! The price he paid for it is irrelevant, would you not buy a car off a dealer because he had just bought it for a lot less than you? Why should it be any different for a private seller?
