  1. Get a network key set up mate, that'll stop the buggers!
  2. Yeah, pretty sure Luke will sort it for me. Oh well, plenty of other jobs to be getting on with! Cheers for your help mate.
  3. I'm sure that the mount isn't catching on the hole I've cut, it fits nicely except that corner. I bought it a couple of months ago and can't remember for sure but I think it came like that. I was going to use black mastik to stick it down with but that corner needs so much pressure to keep it down, I'm scared that when it dries it will spring back and rip the dash.
  4. Good luck mate. Make sure that the car isn't in gear if your going to put power on the starter, I don't know if it will make the car jump or not but best to make sure it won't! Also, if you do have to put a window in, do a door and not a 1/4light. The door window is much easier to fix :)
  5. Thanks for that mate. Will be my job for tomorrow :)
  6. Thanks for the help folks, I've had a good look at it today and I'm convinced that the corner is warped. I've taken a photo of the problem, ignore the reflection from the windscreen. The mount sits quite nicely all round except the rear top corner :headvswal Think I will need to speak to Luke about it.
  7. I've cut the hole in the dash above the audio/heater surround, however I can't get the fibreglass gauge mount to sit flat. I've had a good look at it and the hole doesn't seem to be stopping it from sitting correctly, I'm wondering if the gauge mount is warped. I've tried calling Luke at Zcentre but he's away until the 27th. Can fibreglass warp? Is there anything I can do or do I just have to wait for Luke to get back? Any advice would be appreciated. cheers dave

  11. I'm trying to connect my El dials plasma clocks to the headlight on switch. I've found the blue/white +12 dimmer for gauges but connecting to this puts the dial on permanently. Does anyone know which wire i need? cheers Dave
  12. Do you think the club (i.e. us) should send Hammond a replacement targa top? We might get a mention on TG.

  20. Does the mb send the sound signals through the hdmi? It may just be sending video signals ala-DVI. Normally (older systems that is!) the sound signals will come directly from your soundcard or mb and be completely separate to video. Have a look in the computers BIOS program you may have an option to divert sound to hdmi. Failing that, its as Dave has said, which is the way I've had to do it as well.
  21. Welcome to the club matey :)
  22. right before you edited it mate!
  23. My engine was idling erratically and would cut out when at warmed up. It had also started vibrating. I relocated the s1 PTU to the inner wing next to the battery and changed it for a known good s1 ptu. The engine now runs sweetly apart from some smoke from exhaust, which is looking like duff pcv valves. As said above though, it's worth checking the afm, if the wire isn't broken then a quick spray with some contact cleaner should help.
