  1. A bit of good news for the British car industry for once :) http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/coventry_warwickshire/8372121.stm
  2. Yes mate you can, I'm in the middle of doing mine. It's a long job but not technically difficult. Have a look in the FAQ section for the "Subframe bushing replacement" threads.
  3. what bushes were you using mate? I've got some whiteline ones to go in, will they be ok?
  4. I'm installing the e.s. diff bushes but I don't know which way they go? The bush will only go in one way, which I've marked with a green arrow. But which way do they go into the subframe, red or green? Cheers Dave
  5. Welcome matey :)
  6. Can you not get a crows foot on the nut?
  7. Cheers Guys and Gal, I've decided I'm not going to age any more! I'm staying 38 for the rest of me life..lol
  8. Had mine the other week. Makes your arm feel bruised for a couple of days.
  9. The handbrake shoes are behind the discs on both rear wheels. You can get access to them by removing the brake calipers, and taking the discs off.
  10. The leads connect to a control box next to the handbrake and under the console. They go from there to the main loom and cat temp warning light as jimmer says.
  11. I bet that hurts! :headvswal
  12. You could try some G3 on it. You might be lucky and the bubbles are on the surface. Failing that, don't know mate.
  13. The pipes go to the front of the car. You have a few options; You can ditch it completely (which will involve other parts) or You can use a fitting that comes with the eliminator kit. This joins the pipes together and is the easiest way to get it out of the way.
  14. Was suprised that mike thought a dodgy gearbox would be a cheap fix on an M3 :shock: And I wish that muppet at the end would stop talking over mike :slap:
  15. Are diesel turbos the same as petrol ones? I don't mean are they interchangeable, but do they work on the same principles? Do they have the same components etc?
  16. If you undo the brake calipers and move them out of the way, the disc will just lift off giving you access to the handbrake shoes. You don't need to remove the hubs. To get the hicas pipes off with out cutting them, you can try some plus gas, a spanner and a big hammer. They are a real pain to undo, but still possible.
  17. 1.6L M3 :rofl::rofl::rofl:
  18. I wonder if this is the one that Edd tells Mike he's not happy with it or him?
  19. There are some really, really thick people out there!
