  1. Yeah, cheers guys. I'll get the pro's in to check it out, he can also convert it from the old gas for me too :)
  2. ..the AC rad for holes? My A/C has never worked and no longer has any gas in it. The bloke I bought the car from said that he thought it was a leaky pipe that was the problem. Now I've got the engine out, the pipe's all look fine. So I'm left wondering if it's the rad that's leaking.
  3. Welcome mate :) and DON'T even bother looking at the Crest Cars zed, it will be a shed! The bloke is a rip off merchant and lies on the adds he makes. I went to look at one he was selling. He said it had a full service history, well it did but it stopped in 98! The car I looked at was only fit for the scrap heap.
  4. I think its this mate; http://flagshipsentry.com/autopage.html
  5. It's the carrots isn't it, lol Stovies is a traditional Scottish peasant dish. It's made from browning onions in beef dripping or lard, chuck in some chopped spuds and cover with beef stock. Simmer until it sort of mushes together then add corned beef. Doesn't sound it but it's really nice.
  6. Thought you meant the Scottish potato dish, which I do love.
  7. That's old news, most manu's have redesigned the bushes to give a bit more play. Whiteline and E.S. bushes are fine.
  8. Might be the speed sensor on the gearbox that's not working.
  9. I've removed those ones mate as the engine is coming out as well. :)
  10. I've done it before mate just wondering if there was an easier way. Gladly, I have man arms not little girlie ones
  11. Yeah, that's what I was thinking :(. Oh well I'll do it that way. Cheers
  12. Bottom pic looks like your showing your arse off
  13. I'll be taking my autobox off the back of the engine tomorrow and was wondering if it's possible to get at the top two bolts without having to use the 36" extension bars method? Can you get at the bolts from the back of the engine bay or maybe round the side? Cheers Steams
  14. It looks like it's been deliberately screwed into the IC! oh dear.
  15. Was just thinking that you could spray some cleaner like wd40 or brake cleaner into the barrel and it should free it up. But as you say It may well be fooked! lol
  16. lol, cheeky git. Is your lock bust or just stiff mate?
  17. Don't have one matey, but I'm pretty sure they are all the same.
  18. Nice one mate. I'm in the middle of doing mine as we speak (well, not literally but you know what I mean lol)
  19. As said, it sounds like your BMC seals have gone. May also be worth checking that the booster hasn't failed as well.
  20. Well some of us like it :sneaky2:
  21. That was for the detailing, for the rest you used a roller
