  1. Get your bits out and say "How about it Darlin'" never failed to not work for me until the Police said I can't do it anymore
  2. Have you done anything to the carbon canister? That has a fuel outlet that should let fumes escape under the car but if it's blocked it may be backing up and coming out the engine bay area?
  3. more like cast iron than steel
  4. As you said, a permanent fused live feed and an earth point are all you need. Wire the seatbelt tensioner to the one you already have and your good to go.
  5. Torrettes mate. it's you thats clicking  Sounds like the balljoint has run dry.
  6. the plank strapped across me arse to stop me falling in snapped, if it wasn't for the lorry driver I met in there I'd never have got out...
  7. My ex's poon was bigger than that
  8. The Calibra was a Cavalier not a vectra and they were pretty much identical except for the shell. (yeah I know the cav was called the vectra in Europe but it's a cavalier to me dammit )
  9. Welcome matey :) Looks like a tidy zed you've bagged yourself their. Go canny though, It's a little bit quicker than your vectra dti
  10. I very rarely see them either but it's always a nice surprise when I do :)
  11. After your zed power thread, it would seem that you should go as a Charlie
  12. Mate my Vectra oil burner would beat that
  13. Wrong size for the clutch? Not fitted to release fork correctly? etc...
  14. yep, that's what I did. Just wish I'd worked it out a bit sooner and saved myself a lot of swearing. lol
  15. '89 front '99 rear for the win.
  16. There's been a lot of debate about this and the answer is always EBC wins everytime. Boost Jets are OK but can cause spikes, an EBC is the best option.
  17. Get well soon mate :)
  18. and it starts murdering people :death:
  19. I was thinking that it's best to have them mate.
  20. Ah right cheers mate. I was a little worried that I'd only get vac assist when the tubs were boosting, hence the expansion tank idea. If you say it's not needed then that's good enough for me.
  21. Apparently not lol. I asked last week for photos and didn't get any. I'm just connecting the balance bar to the booster with a one way valve and a little expansion tank in-between them. Then it's just a case of fitting it all in somewhere.
  22. Does sound like it then. It's a pretty crappy way to blank the plug off but the clutch will still work, it'll just be a lot heavier.
  23. Was the pipe sticking out of the firewall? If so then it's the clutch booster and the car has been converted to manual and he's just blanked it off. That's assuming it's a manual of course :)
