  1. funny thing is that he was only crawling when he hit them
  2. Blimey Sir that is retro. Having a modern stereo just isn't the same as it was with all the seperates. I can remember how cool I felt when I got a twin deck ghetto blaster that had auto reverse and metal tape selection. lol
  3. G3 or some other cutting compound, assuming you want to save the paint underneath.

  7. I phoned up Racelogic today to get some info about installing my digital adjuster. Bloke told me that the lead with LED on it used with the manual control isn't needed. So he told me how to make it act as a shift change light! Turns out that using the software you can set a rev limit for the light to come on which tells you when to change gears. Only works with the digital unit but a nice little free feature :cool3:
  8. Can't remember but you might be able to get at it from below, not sure though.
  9. aah, that's a bugger then. Had them in mine aswell and as said pass side is easy enough but the drivers is a bit of a git to get at.

  13. On the face of it it looks ok but in the second picture there seems to be a dent on the sill where they normally rust. It could just be a reflection in the photo or something, but it makes me wonder.
  14. Nice collection of retro motors you've got there mate.
  15. I was under the impression that there is a law in Japan that stops exports of cars or engines that have done more than 60k? Hence the reason all imports have done less then 60k. Don't know if it's true or if I dreamt it.lol
  16. You know the rules mate! Where's the pics

  21. The 10mm bolts are normally m6x1.00 with a 10mm head. Then just choose how long you want them. i.e. m6x1.00x20. Metric bolt's can be a bit confusing. they are measured by the width of the shaft, not the size of spanner you need to undo them. Then you have the pitch which is measured in peaks per mm (1.00 = 1 peak per mil on the thread) 1.00 pitch is also reffered to as "course thread". Finally you have the lenght of the shaft, again measure in mm. HTH
