My old engine was at 133k miles and apart from a turbo seal, is still going strong. Only reason I swapped was I had a spare manual one that had been rebuilt and is on less than 60k km.

I've just finished cutting my injector wires and re-soldering them into my traction control loom. Started the engine and all seems fine, each injector is clicking away nicely. But then I thought, how would you know if you had accidently connected the wrong injector to the loom? I was using the plug method to install the loom so that I could unplug it if need be. If the injector was connected wrongly i.e. inj1 signal on the ecu side got connected to inj3 signal on the engine side. The injector would still fire as it's getting a signal from the ecu. But would this cause a problem and would you be able to tell? I haven't mixed them up, so just wondering really.

I love the Vulcan, when I was a kid I remember it doing a low level turn at an airshow. When it was flying away the engines were facing me and my legs went to jelly. By god it was loud. lol

Spotted twice in Huntingdon now, once in Tesco's carpark and today in front of me going into halfords.

I used redline MT90 in mine, iirc it takes about 3.5L. It's full when the oil is level with the filler plug bottom.

Have a look at the plate on the slam panel, the original colour code should be there i.e mine was GL1.

Just don't use the struts from the tailgate, you'll launch your bonnet about 60 foot behind the car :lol:

Take a couple of these and carry on sanding mate :lol:

I've got these on my TT, It's not so much the engine it's more the gearbox. Some of the pipes may foul on the autobox oil pan. Nothing that a bit of fettling won't fix though. It will remove the cats and you should be able to connect your 2.5" with out problems.
