  1. I had this problem when I did my conversion. I couldn't figure out where the tanks go. Solved it in the end by ignoring them and connecting the booster directly to the balance bar with a one way valve between them. Works perfectly without them. HTH
  2. That's what I did too, makes bleeding it much easier.
  3. Have a search on the ICV or Idle control Valve. It's at the back of the engine pass side and is probably needing a clean. HTH
  4. No, it'll be Car. Mad Dave phoning up for some "sexy time"
  5. Congrats mate.. You can have a little break now
  6. Probably the drives board that's failed then :( All I can think of to do is buy a new identical drive and swap the boards over. Or you could send the drive off to a data recovery company and get them to transfer the data. Don't know how much this would cost as I haven't had to do it for years.
  7. Sounds like the controller may have failed or the sata lead is not connecting properly. You could try plugging the drive into another SATA port on your pc to see if you can get the pc to recognise it again. Also try a plugging it into another power lead. If the drive still isn't seen then the chances are that the HD controller board has a problem.
  8. nothing! just thought it would keep the cardboard floor panels dry
  9. Short answer is; yes the valves can be cleaned so can the pipes. Just slosh some petrol around them and it will clean them out. I doubt that it's your PCV's causing the white smoke problem though. White smoke is condensation related, pcvs tend to be blue/black and smell of oil. Best case is it's just some vapour burning off in the exhaust and it will go away on it's own. That said you may have a problem with a leaking head gasket. Best get a sniffer test done on the engine to be sure. HTH
  10. It goes; down pipes, cat/decats, centre section (X H or straight through) and back boxes. So 4 sections in total. HTH
  11. first link when googled http://www.240sx.org/faq/articles/apex.htm
  12. You need to connect the orange wire to pin 53 on the ECU. Just splice it in. That's how I connected mine. HTH
  13. That's the only bit of good that this story has :( Pity he didn't save a lot of people so much grief by shooting himself first.....
  14. Very sad RiP PC Rathband
  15. Congratulations matey :pint:
  16. He does occasionally still come on here. I'm sure he'd be willing to help you. Maybe PM him?
  17. No Dan packed up a while ago I'm afraid :( What's the question you have on Conzult?
  18. Well he's talking rubbish mate. You would have to replace the entire hub carrier for one bush! Just get them pushed out and replace them with poly ones. You only need to take the wheel off to get access.
  19. Could do, they might also be for allowing air to circulate in the boot. Reduce smells etc. but I'm guessing now.
  20. could be that as well. lol I know that they are just a plastic box with a filter in it.
  21. iirc they are air vents to reduce condensation in the boot.
  22. Your windscreen may have been replaced by a UK spec one before you or Janus had it. Blue is definitely UK, bronze is JDM. There was someone on here that needed a new bronze one, iirc it took ages for the windscreen firm to get the correct one, but they imported one from Japan in the end.
