egr valve
MJP probably. But I wouldn't even consider replacing it if it's failed. Ditching it is by far the better and cheaper option.

Tommorow is the day . . .
Very different mate, hope all goes well for you :)

zed 31 on ebay
looks like a 99 spec to me, however it's got a centre support. May be a modified one..?

Big Thanks to Jimmer @ Power Zed
Looks fantastic mate but more importantly, it'll run fantastic as well :) Edit: Get that PS pot painted, it's letting the side down now. lol

I know they're getting rarer but........
I occasionally see a grey JDM driving round where I live. Saw it my rear view yesterday when I was turning into my road. Apart from that I rarely see any on the roads.

Hyperthetical Situation.
Is the paint work needing sorted then mate? It's a good example of an original zed, the problem with souped up bodykitted cars are that they are done to the owners taste. Not everyone will have those tastes so you are effectively reducing the number of potential buyers. You should be able to get a good price for yours. Good slicktops don't come up that often though so you may have a wait on your hands. Best of luck what ever you decide to do.

Is the plenum still sucking in air or have you fixed it? If not, you need to get that fixed before doing anything else or your just wasting your time.

:( added more photos (repair estimate added)
That's what the valuer did with mine, they'll compare it with similar zeds and take into account the overall condition to come up with a price.

You have to do it when you take out the policy. It normally involves taking photos of the car and sending it to them.

What's the going rate for these??
They are quite desirable matey, so should get a decent price. Can't say for sure how much you'll get for yours but I got £70 for my ones and they were manual.

The next issue . . . Not starting . . . again
I had a misfire that was PTU related, however the misfire was always there and I tracked it down to corroded connections on the PTU loom. It was so bad I had to chop it off and solder a new connector on. Worked fine after that. As far as I know I'm still on the original ptu.

NZR - How easy is it to change an Almera timing chain?
There's still a lot life left in the old girl, my dad's reluctant to get another car as he only really uses it for getting around town etc. I've told him that he won't get his money back on the repair. Apart from a dodgy sensor this is the first real job it's had to have. Been a very reliable little car. There was some rust on the front crossmember but I got in there and stopped it spreading. It's filled with Dinitrol now :)
