  1. Just thinking back, what I really meant by that was that it is the 'right' chip for your setup, but there is always room for some further development and fine tuning, especially given the spec you have.
  2. Yep, gunmetal/grey perhaps, but not black, certainly not with a light coloured car.
  3. Here :- http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=110414&highlight=bracket&page=2 http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=110414&highlight=bracket&page=3
  4. I thought he posted some up a while ago - try a search.
  5. Yep, it is that chip and I don't rip off other people, it is an original chip that passed through my hands, it's not a copy. I don't know the accurate spec, but it seems to be OK. Bottom line is that if you want to pay me something for it then I'll be grateful. I'll PM you.
  6. Piss ! I missed it - I hope the TiVo did it's duty ...
  7. Stu, Was that the 'get you going chip' that I sent you ? Because if it is then you're doing well running it at 16psi !
  8. The rate is £100 per year. Normally, our traders are orientated towards Z stuff and we weren't really planing on becoming the the 2nd Yellow Pages, but if you think the advertising would be worth it then we would consider it.
  9. Ask me !
  10. No, that sounds like a very bad plan to me - that stuff will get everywhere ! Try removing the speed converter and see how it goes without it.
  11. Chris has 19" wheels, not sure what the offset is though.
  12. Total seem to have a high spec fuel now, can't remember what it's called though.
  13. I don't have any diagnostic info for that version of HICAS, my manuals only cover Series I, II & III. Presume you also have the later ECU, which also stops the ConZult working ? Could be tricky unless you install an earlier ECU.
  14. I used spray-on Evo-stik.
  15. I also have the RPS Street clutch and would recommend it for the 'normal' road cars with the usual modifications.
  16. I have a second hand clutch you can have if you are really desperate. But you should be aware that it used to slip a tiny bit at max torque when I was running 15psi, and that's on an auto-converted to manual.
  17. I have a courtesy light that dims slowly !
  18. Funny that - it's been shooting up in price, along with diesel, ever since the Government legalised it's use as fuel.
  19. I would guess a faulty coilpack - have seen this before. Blag another one and swap it around each in turn, hopefully the problem will disappear when you find the right one.
  20. Nothing new, remember the "it's a good day to bury bad news" scandal ?
  21. Oh yeah- it's great !
  22. But not to that power, that is limited by the turbos. However, auto turbos/cams do have more low down torque than a manual setup.
  23. I think when I came back last time we stopped at Dover for fuel, not because I desperately needed it, but some of the others did. I think I could have made it in one hit, didn't realise it was quite so far on the French side though. I did go though the tunnel, dunno how much difference that makes. In a couple of weeks I'll be going down to the Dordogne, hoping to do that in one hit in the Beamer, ~625 miles !!
  24. .... I like .... http://jalopnik.com/396277/more-proof-that-once-you-go-flat-black
  25. Lots of people have lots of responsibility in many different ways. Some people are rewarded well, some are in not such a strong position to demand better pay/conditions. Anyway, I still think they will inundated with job applications when all this is over.
