Forget discs, just too damn heavy. Electronic stuff works out quite well, nice and small, good value, fits in the suitcase etc. Just make sure it doesn't look like a bomb otherwise your suitcase will get opened after the-ray !!! I want one of those robot vacuum cleaners if you have some space - they're about 25% cheaper over there ! :D

Your next step would probably involve larger injectors (eg 555's), at that point you would need a new map.

Maybe not much help right now, but the easiest thing to do is to get someone to drive a working one round and do a direct comparison.

Sounds like your clock is reading in km/h. 62mph is 100km/h and 100mph should be about 160km/h. It can be corrected by changing one of the resistors inside. You may or may not have a speed limiter still in the ECU, will depend on whether it's been chipped or not. So, easy fix to correct the clock and remove the speed limiter is buy one of the speedo convertor boxes and wire it in. Smart fix is change the resistor in the clock and chip the ECU.

The issue is that they are not employed by Shell, who, like most big companies, pay a fair rate etc. The footballer thing, well they are in a fairly unique position and if they didn't earn money for the club then they wouldn't be there. Incidentally, our footballers etc, don't look too rich when compared with the US baseball (rounders), basketball (netball), football (rugby with padding and losts of rest breaks) players.

Now maybe I'm a bit out of touch with what people get paid these days, but these geezers who are 'just' lorry drivers, are getting £36K a year and have rejected £41K. Now sure it's a responsible job and there is a safety element involved etc but it seems like a heap of cash compared with what a lot of other people, who arguably have more 'important' jobs, are paid. Ultimately, all jobs are important to society, whether that be bin men, Doctors, Police, Nurses (and even IT Consultants lol), but I know a lot of people who are earning around half what these guys get. Anyone else thought about that ?

At the moment ! Obviously as the price of petrol rises then so will other fuels in order to not create a vast differential. Look at how the cost of vegetable oil has gone up in the last year after a) the government allowed you to use 2200 litres per year as fuel, b) the price of diesel has gone up.
