  1. I aim for 150 at the halfway mark during normal commuting and have seen about 195 on long, all motorway, journeys.
  2. Don't see why not. You can get the manual version from Courtesy, presume they have an auto as well.
  3. Well if you're not going to the dyno then you can come round and help me fix my power steering leak. Alternatively, you could help me on Saturday and we could both go and poke fun at the people blowing up their cars on the dyno ! LOL :D
  4. Time to get wise ! http://www.theregister.co.uk/content/6/35038.html
  5. :xxx: I can hardly believe this, I really can hardly believe that anyone would actually do this. However, if there's even a hint of truth in this then it's quite possibly one of the most fantastic car cockups that I've ever heard of....here's the link.... http://forums.s2ki.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=174075&perpage=25&pagenumber=1
  6. ... but only when the traffic is light !
  7. I have a spare rad at the mo. It's brand new and one of the 3 that Warren got made in South Africa. It's very similar to the Koyo one, being full, highly polished, aluminium construction, significantly increased in capacity and cooling area. It's a tight fit but it does fit and will be an improvement, both in cooling and longevity over a standard one. Fitting the fan shield may take some ingenuity though ... Price is £200 (of which £175 was paid by me and for reasons too complicated to explain, £25 which is owed to the forum funds) PM me if you're interested.
  8. Try here :- http://www.300zx.org.uk/terminology.htm
  9. The rear view appears to show the tyres extending beyond the arches, and yet from the side view that would appear to be impossible. The spoiler on the rear view is much wider than when seen from the front The rear wheels on the side view have kind of sunk into the ground The front view appears to show the mirrors higher than from the rear It actually looks more like a magazine cut-out jobbie to me than a photoshop creation.
  10. There's a bunch of buyers guides linked from here :- http://www.300zx.org.uk/tech_20.htm
  11. You sure that wasn't me ? Mine is disgusting ! lol
  12. Not a 5 minute job. Cambelt off etc.
  13. The button isn't on the gear knob, it's on the front of the stick (eg the side nearest the dash)
  14. ECU's seldom die, fisrt point of call for me would be the PTU
  15. The actual voltage is fairly unimportant as long as it's either less than or greater than the switchover point of 0.5v. It's the change that matters, not the exact voltage. If they get 'lazy' then they tend to stick either high or low, which can cause the car to run rich/lean etc.
  16. Hey, I was just paraphrasing the mood of the people ! Don't shoot the reporter (Unless you're US military) LOL :D
  17. Don't think he has holidays ! LOL Call him :- 01277 374201
  18. Just happened to be glancing at a can of Magnatec the other day and it says something like it's ideal for "conventional" engines. Is a turbo a conventional engine, or is non-conventional something as radical as a rotary ? Anyway, the oil I use is specifically intended for turbo petrol engines. (it must be true - it says so on the label ! ;))
  19. The green would be nice, but a bit too subtle, the orange would be excellent !
  20. That's quite an amusing site actually. I read the stuff about eating and the description of simple harmonic motion within the "General Chuntering" section is particuarly captivating ! ;)
  21. You may have got a bad batch of fuel. Also, so you could try some octane booster. Also, double check the base setting of the ignition timing in case it's slipped.
  22. Although I still have the old bar at the top in red with Home, Forum, Rides, FAQ, Links ????

  24. Take a look here :- http://www.pestpatrol.com/PestInfo/w/winwhatwhere.asp There are instructions for manual removal towards the bottom of the page.
  25. I think they're saying "Keep the a/c and lose some weight, lardarse !". LOL :D
