Where my PMs gone
It's all automated and (usually) works. However, if the mail doesn't get delivered (ie address changed or caught in spam filter) then you wouldn't get notified.

Fao Legrath
Take a look at the CAS, if it's set right then the screws should be almost exactly in the middle of the adjustment slot. If they're way out, in order to set the timing right, then you may be a cambelt tooth out or the CAS location pin could be broken. If the scew is at one end of the slot now then that would explain why your timing is out.

Smokin Cats
Eh ? Cats don't smoke unless something is dripping oil on them ....

When should the "Low Fuel" light come on?
On mine you can do 20-30 miles with the light on, have done a little more on occasion. Expect to put in 65-68 litres after that though.

Disused airfield
There are two near me, not sure whether either of them are 'available' though.

ecu swop
Eh ? I reckon you can put a TT auto ECU in a TT manual, NA auto or NA manual car (would need to change the maps for the NA though) You could also put a TT manual ECU in an NA manual car (once again need to change the maps though)

Recelogic Digital Adjuster Problem
Nah, that'd be silly, all changes should be saved in NVR on the main box - this device is a just a controller through the serial port (I think).

18's or 19's
The overall rolling diameter will be very little different between the standard 16's and 18's or 19's. You just have less tyrewall with larger wheels. If you want to 'fill' the arches then you need to lower the suspension.

WOW Buying from US Saves loads.
I have found that sending by land (sea) rather than air is better. This means the goods are usually delivered by Royal Mail instead of UPS etc and they are considerably less efficient at collecting the import duties.

bargain lol
Would be perfect for my 350Z calipers I have on the front. However, you will never get them for that price as it is obviously a mistake, so they would not be obliged to supply, no matter when you placed the order.

Smart looking, with nice spolier (not high-level picnic table!;)).
-
members pack ?
It would certainly be wise to do so, unless the trader happens to know you. They will often ask for your membership number.
-
slow to warm up
Quite possibly. I changed mine it it went from a 5 mile warm up to about 2 miles.

New Member
I see your payment but it's via a cheque through Paypal which takes forever to clear (well 6 days or so!). I'm not sure whether this will work with our automatic clearance system, so lets wait and see.

Choices, choices, choices!!
Anything with a modern turbo diesel lump. Should get close to the BHP you want, heaps of torque and 45+ mpg !
-
Some mistake surely?
Yep, that one looks like it has Series I a/c and interior too. It's easy to tell from the chassis numbers, Series II started in Aug 1992.

Auto engine in a manual car
Well that is basically what people have when they convert from auto to manual. Top end power is only used occasionally, mid-range torque is what you use every day. I'm very happy with mine, but obviously that won't stop me sticking the spare set of uprated manual turbos on if/when my auto turbos die !
-
Auto engine in a manual car
Pretty much, although I believe the cams are slightly different too.
-
Auto engine in a manual car
What it does have is a heap more torque in the midrange, but a little power is sacrificed at the top end. Smaller turbos spin up faster etc.

Water pressure
And more to the point why would you want to measure it ? Generally, it will be fairly low anyway, except when the temperature is up around (and over) boiling point.
