Standard rears at 8.5" have 245's, so I would have thought 235 is a shade narrow.

If everything is working perfectly the brakes are 'good enough' for the road. However, a better set of brakes (mine are off a 350Z) make a big difference.

You will probably need to swap the clock over into your old casing. Don't understand why you need to buy USclock faces, you UK ones will be in MPH. Anyway, IIRC US clocks only go up to 160mph.

I reckon it'll be ok, it'll be a bit sluggish and smoke a little but petrol isn't used as a lubricant anywhere in the system (unlike some diesels) so it'll probably come to no harm. Run it about half empty then fill up with petrol again, wouldn't bother wasting money on Optimax once you have a mix of diesel though ... ;)
