  1. I think that unless some specialist company (like http://www.w20.net) provides a wireless broadband service then you're screwed ...
  2. US gallons are smaller - 1 pint = 16floz, rather than ours which are 20floz, so 20% smaller.
  3. This should do the trick :- http://hemsidor.torget.se/users/b/bohjohan/convert/conv2_e.htm#press
  4. I should be there and will probably have Karen (and her 350) with me.
  5. I have found (in my very limited experience) that Green Flag are pretty good. They send someone from a local garage so they tend to arrive fairly quickly.
  6. There are now quite a few people who have done the conversion and I'm one of them. The auto does have marginally smaller turbos and this gives more mid-range torque and slightly less top-end, eg 10-20bhp less, not a big issue on a 300bhp+ car, and it's the mid-range that you use every day. I reckon you should budget up to £1500 for the conversion, but you may find a bargain and get it done for perhaps half that.
  7. If you're changing all those exhaust bits then try to get a set of the divorced downpipes at the same time. Those three mods will make a difference.
  8. It looks like the virus has been moved but not deleted, probably to the virus vault, rather than being executed, which is good. Are you sure these are genuine Palpay payment notifications ? I suspect they're not, just delete them and then log on to Paypal direct to see what you have really got.
  9. Still suspect detonation is an option as the rattle happens at high revs, although it is equally common at peak torque, eg 3250-3850rpm.
  10. It's already set to 25, looks like Mike has fixed it !
  11. Try having a search through here :- http://www.thisismoney.co.uk/cheaprates Mortgages are like insurance, one size does not fit all and you need to search for one that matches your situation and requirements.
  12. Discovered this place recently, could help with discounts for group buys etc etc https://www.boilerjuice.com
  13. If he said it about anything other than a Z you'd be laughing. Who cares what he says anyway ....
  14. Hang on, won't it read wrongly afterwards ! Think about it, if on your current speedo when you're doing 60mph the needle is at 12 o'clock then you'd be ok, if not it'll be wrong ...
  15. I'll send him a password reminder (assuming his email is configured correctly).
  16. Must have been a Harlow bird !
  17. So ...... what's the mpg like ? If the O2 sensors always show lean, the the ECU will try to compensate by running rich and your mpg will be poor.
  18. Same as on the M11 above Stanstead. The temp cameras seems to be on blue gantrys and are a bugger to see at night.
  19. http://www.prevx.com/ There are others too, like Cisco CSA, but I just happen to know the people who wrote this one and it's pretty good.
  20. This is security, there is never a single answer and a multilayered approach is always required. (Defense in depth). So good firewall, good anti-virus, good anti-spyware, good anti-adware and common sense are required. A useful addition would be something like Prevx as well. That tends to help protect against day zero exploits and coveres you to a certain extent for gaps in other defences and your AV not being current etc.
  21. Yes, unfortunately that is the case. You can get updated soft/firmware for free, but the maps cost ££.
  22. Anodising actually dyes the metal, polishing is what it says. So in most cases you ought to be able to tell, especially if the metal is 'metal' coloured, if you see what I mean.
  23. Same question, the UK map I have is a bit out of date.
  24. Yep, but people tend to have the door already !
  25. Screwfix sell 'em, something like £150-200, fit yourself though.
