I have found (in my very limited experience) that Green Flag are pretty good. They send someone from a local garage so they tend to arrive fairly quickly.

There are now quite a few people who have done the conversion and I'm one of them. The auto does have marginally smaller turbos and this gives more mid-range torque and slightly less top-end, eg 10-20bhp less, not a big issue on a 300bhp+ car, and it's the mid-range that you use every day. I reckon you should budget up to £1500 for the conversion, but you may find a bargain and get it done for perhaps half that.

If you're changing all those exhaust bits then try to get a set of the divorced downpipes at the same time. Those three mods will make a difference.

So ...... what's the mpg like ? If the O2 sensors always show lean, the the ECU will try to compensate by running rich and your mpg will be poor.

So good firewall, good anti-virus, good anti-spyware, good anti-adware and common sense are required. A useful addition would be something like Prevx as well. Anodising actually dyes the metal, polishing is what it says. So in most cases you ought to be able to tell, especially if the metal is 'metal' coloured, if you see what I mean.
