i really wanted it for my na but then the engine blew..... now id be happy with just an engine :) apparently there is an issue with the whole 'x2 of everything' i got talked out of it a year ago when i first started enquiring but then got talked back into it when i finished the car lol!

iv noticed the pistons are quite thin compared to some cars iv owned, my bc coilovers have a similar size piston too, i wonder why?

so if i can get hold of a profec specII its non specific enough just to fit? also - iv just read this NA to TT swap, no need to get an EBC Just thaught id post some info, maybe usefull. all the threads saying when you do a NA to TT conversion, you need to use an electronic boost controller, as the NA loom doesnt have the connectors for the boost solenoids (without these conected youl be only on 7PSI) you dont need the TT loom, nor do you need a EBC. you can just wire them to an ignition powered live. ive run each one to an earth (the engine) then the posative just needs to go to an IGNITION powered live. it doesnt matter which wire on the solenoids you use for the earth as their not polarity sensative. dont run them to a constant 12+ tho, or as i have found out youl have a flat battery the next day just thaught this maybe usefull info to the forum for future cases - will i still need the na ecu chiping? if so, where do i get a remap i can fit a chip myself i did it in the rx7

in the NA - TT swap im going to attempt to run the NA ecu with an electronic boost controller with a modified 3 wire pump to manipulate the correct fueling (first of all is that right/do able?) second of all (mainly because the guy doing the conversion assures me after reading this) http://upload.z1motorsports.com/Z1%20Z32%20NA%20to%20TT%20Conversion.pdf thats all ill need to do...... soooo all i need right now is an electronic boost controller, the one on my Rx7 was a single electronic solenoid..... do i need a twin solenoid? or a T peice to split the turbos? or can anormal single electronic boost controller take 2 inputs? the guy recons i can get a second hand greaddy protec b for around £150, do i need it to have a pair of solenoids or will a single + t-piece suffice? :)

hmm! well i need to formulate a list of things that fit, ie if i use the na box can i use the na clutch? do i need to swap props? or diff? what part of my exhaust will i need to replace? what about the clocks? if im using a uk TT engine in a jap na car what problems am i gonna face? fuel pump ok to keep? am i missing anything? need as much info as possible iv booked a trip to the ring 22 July to the 28th - it HAS to be finished and ready for then, im not going in my van :( i really need as much help as possible iv got a guy who'll convert and fit the engine for between 6-800 quid depending on ball ache

yea, your right, ah christ, VG's's are basically C18det's aret they?, same era, same linage with 2 more cylinders? bottom end like a chocolate block and dieing in there millions..... the lowest bidder that built them must'v been the same as the c18det's - should'v known, i need an sr20det or an rb26 or something reliable, all i hear on this forum is is engine problems, i was attempting to prove people wrong by turning it into a nos injected drift car to be different! if i put an old tt lump in there id be no better off, i might as well put an 13Bturbo engine in instead for reliability lol!!! i look at my mates with ps13's, silvia's, 200's 240's and 180's they all share the same engine (converted in most cases), all hammer shit out of it, and they all last, never miss a beat, fast, light weight, reliable - drifting round trafford park again never looked so far away!! especially after being off the road for a year last time!!! fffffffs im pissed off!!!!

nope, the only time it scraped was when the arch liner fell off because id used wood screws to hold it on (prat), obviously im avoiding speed bumps like the aids..... i mean plague! lol!
