  1. engine and car are at the garage....NA - TT conversion is reckon'd to take 4 days, but being bank holiday im sure ill'v forgotten something imperative! iv got a huge folder with lots of info iv gathered over the past few months, im missing the one regarding the greddy profec B spec II EBC *300zx specific installation guide, cant find it using search, can anyone point me in the right direction? thanks - Alex
  2. i was at 'drift what you brung' yesterday, was such a laugh was using my mates 200sx but the turbo fell of the manifold due to an RAC failure - ill be at DWYB in my 300 in may, what would be the point in decent paint? its only going to get side swiped by a tree/wall/lamppost/other car going sideways..... drift cars with epic paintwork are owned by people not trying hard enough :P and then the turbo fell off.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rb714H-Rp3Q these two last runs were with the exhaust hanging off with the turbo.... was absolutly no power so dont judge us!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HWuldZw_bVo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C5X5OPsEiqE
  3. im about to fit the greddy specII...... id like to know too !
  4. my na had 26 mm discs, i replaced the callipers and discs from a TT, its fine
  5. that was very helpful thankyou very much! :D
  6. i just won my greddy profec b specII cant wait to fit it!!
  7. can anyoune clear up the fuel pump confusion?
  8. actually the damege is similar to mine...... hate nissan sometimes :(
  9. dibs if you dont snap it!
  10. took the seat out to check......no rust..... its all still sticky black underseal (which stinks) seems the prat who did the the floor welding thought it would be a good idea to unerseal the whole floor plan............FLOL!!
  11. so my TT fuel pump arrived today, looks just like the NA one, theres still some confusion as to what i need to replace, (3rd wire) do i need a TT fuel loom? iv got the TT fuel ecu, and main ecu - took some pics of my current setup (wires and plugs)
  12. its not even on my land, just sat round the corner under a car cover in a castered bread tray..................... i cant get it up the step into my house..... jypsys were round 2 days ago asking for scrap metal........ i fancie the egr delete, cant find much of a walk through regarding the water bypass but ill keep looking, looks like i need some metal plates and gaskets making up....anyone got these ready made?
  13. ........my dry arse thanks you for this one, iv been trying all sorts of stupid crap - this is an absolute winner, i used to have a puddle on the seat everytime it rained, now its as dry as a bone! WIN!
  14. its had a new timing belt, aux + tensioners, dont fancie oil seals as its a low millage clean engine water bypass? egr delete? this interests me, but why do i want to do these things? :S
  15. its just sat round the back of my house (undercover) anything i should do to it before it goes in? its a ukTT
  16. i hit my mum with a claw hammer, will she live?
  17. he sent back this - NSK2017 for the 300ZX turbo Z31 1983-1986 VG30T - this is whats fitted to my NA???? cant tell me what the clamping force is as he doesnt know...... ffs dont know what to do now....
  18. just sent them a message on ebay, will give them a tinkle tomorrow, what does the clamping force need to be in order to cope with the TT engine?
  19. yes keeping the NA rear, well as with most things regarding this car there are a million different opinions non of which add up i cant find the clamping force, i only fitted it 3 weeks ago, and couple that with the fact the clutch they sent was a TT one so i drove all the way to blackpool to go get the right one, wich turned out to be a z31 turbo clutch???? was a direct replacement for mine on the NA..... i dunno..... failing that ill have to buy a flywheel and clutch kit, which will be outrageously expensive undoubtedly..........
  20. iv been told otherwise regarding the clutch http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=136829 ok, so....i definatly need... 1. TT main ecu 2. TT fuel pump 3. TT fuel pump ecu
  21. so i definatly need the tt fuel pump ecu if im running the tt fuel pump? iv currently got the NA car, and the TT lump, downpipes, radiator and all the inter-cooler pipework and the inter-coolers themselves, i will be using the NA loom however, and the NA manual box and clutch and flywheel from the NA too, realistically i would like to run the tt pump and tt main ecu, i get the impression this is best if not then where do i get a TT chip for my na ECU?
  22. which one of those combinations is right? im in the process of getting a tt main ecu and tt fuel pump, will i need the fuel pump ecu too? this third wire business..... is this from the 'fuel pump ecu' to the tt fuel pump, or from the main TT ecu to the tt fuel pump?
  23. NA TT which SPECIFIC bit do i need to do the conversion? i thought there was a different amount of plugs? ie na=2, TT=3? has anyone got a cheap ttfuel pump knocking around?
