Well we gotta try and make it a one make team if possible. Let's just see how things pan out but it'd be a shame if we can't get five zeds on the start line but if not we'll have to put a sticker on the Pulsar maybe they won't notice lol

They are GTX3071R however we had to modify them a lot as the ashspecz ones didn't do what it said on the tin. We are at the dyno this coming Friday so will probably have a different story by the weekend :)

I was running 18 psi Saturday dropped to 16 on Sunday Mine is really a dedicated track car and I just do drag for TOTB. My 60 foot was 1.750 on the 11.4. My best is 11.06 with a 60 foot of 1.54 and the limiting factor for me is the gear changes in particular second to third where I prefer a leisurely change rather than risk killing something. I should manage a 10 second run hopefully at TOTB but I won't be too bothered if it never happens. If you want to beat Andre just join our TOTB team we are competing against GTO and Eurospec who will have Andre running:-)

It's a no brainer IMO. Book it in with Terry for an MOT and take it to Bodymech who will get the job done properly. Driving without MOT dorsnt attract points anyway so at worse a £60 fine :-) Or book an mot with Terry and pop into TOTB on the way lol.

That's a shame Tom you would have loved it but now you will have to wait till next year. I don't know if you can get refund but if not see if someone can buy it off you. Let me know I can pop it in Facebook too :-)

That would be unfair to the many good people that populate this forum. More often than not those who spend time on a forum will also air their grievances in public. I imagine many of them wish they hadn't done so but we live in a world where free speech is acceptable and where everyone makes mistakes once in a while. Add that to a relatively lively forum and you will experience the occasional ups and downs.

I think you tried a bit too hard with that post. I did suggest 'my experience' and despite what you might think I was generally referring to stateside suppliers of which I have found them wanting just recently. I work pretty hard for my money and I don't take kindly to having it wasted on rubbish and what can amount to negligence and outright lies. It's my opinion and I think you'll find I am entitled to it given my current losses. Actually I think you'll find I recommended Noz on more than one occasion over the weekend. Oh but then again I see him as a specialist tuner rather than a Zed specialist :-) Over the years you have been singularly self opinionated to the point that I am honoured you disagree with my opinion :-)

Well the GTO boys are running scared and now it seems we might be running against the Eurospec Race Team as well lol. We now hold the moral high ground and I don't mind kicking a bit of GTR and Evo butt (or not as the case may be lol)

Hoosier road legal. Worked really well today and I'm hoping they stay sticky for TOTB. I managed to break traction on my last run so will have a good look at them next week to see if they're still good.

Here's the print out from my two runs today at Japshow. I did three actually but they didn't register the third run which I believe was an 11.5. Just 6 hundredths off the 10 second but I am really happy with my 60 foot time and if I can maintain that 60 foot will easily hit the 10 second mark So at TOTB I will most likely remove the front splitter and the rear spoiler. I also left a pair of 265 tyres on the front so will change them for a pair of 235 and I hope that will be enough to get the time down.

These are at the hubs James. We should get a bit more out of it yet as we were getting tired and at 2 am we were waking up the neighbours lol. Plus when we install the Infiniti and turn on the NOS I'm hoping for a lot less lag but we shall see. From previous runs :)

Thanks Pete. I camped out on the club stand on Saturday thanks to my friendly security guard :) I decided my race truck and trailer was to big to stay there during Japshow proper so moved it off before the rest of the cars got there. I did pop over a few times to say hello but I only caught one person there lol. So apologies to all that I didn't say hello to but I had a long weekend getting the car ready and with a long drive home needed to get away. Thanks to Mark for organising it. Yes a few were on it. I managed a couple of decent times so testing went well for me :)

So have rebuilt the turbos and been on the dyno still haven't installed the Infiniti but perhaps next. And here at Santa Pod an 11.1 with passenger :-) We are getting there :-)

I have had a few issues over the years but in fairness to the mods they have always done their bit. I have had some wonderful service from some of the guys on here Bodymech and of course Slick Pete but I have to say that in my experience so called 'zed specialists' the world over are pretty poor. Everyone makes mistakes and none of us are perfect but it would be nice if people took responsibility for their actions. I have never ripped anyone off and I get irritated when I hear of people being taken for a ride. I have even seen people selling secondhand goods on here for more than I buy new!!! For myself I don't blame the forum nor the mods. My advice is that once you are sure of the facts and you have proof simply request a full refund from the seller. If that's not forthcoming take them to the small claims court it doesn't cost a lot and when you win the satisfaction makes the hassle so worthwhile. And then if they don't pay you can take out a county court judgement lol.

That's a shame. C'mon guys we need another one to register to make a team. Only three weeks to go and until we get the full team of 5 entered I can't give the GTO guys any lip :) not only that I would like to to let the TOTB organisers we are confirmed and start making any arrangements regarding a nice spot to set up.
