what is stage 2 my friend and how much did they set you back ,the sport 500s are £1400

just looked stunning Craig, changes look great, which tubs did you go for? will have to give me an update on performance as im looking into bigger ones myself, so far JWTsport 500s look like the way to go, i currently have t28s which i love, but im used to the power and now want to aim for 480 hp +

LOL about 8 inches here in cambridge. has been like this for over a week now. actaully quite annoyin when trying to move the Z around, want to take it out but its been snowing since 4am last night. now nearly midday and still coming down, BORD of it now, and havent got winter tyres fitted. :-(

i only use mine on the 99 ron stuff too, been told i need to since its japspec, funny tho as i thought the SWB would be better on fuel, but seems theyre worse, most LWB guys get 250-300+ but considering i put 70 quid in its not that pocket friendly. but thanks for letting me know your in the same boat, do you have any running issues with yours, ie 02 sensors, or bad injectors etc. seems were averaging 14-16 mpg. (sorry this is going off topic but your the only other SWB guy i've spoken to)

done the water pump and thermostat within the last 3 weeks, funnily enough after that, thats when the car began blowing cold air and steam occasionally from the vents, taking the car 260 miles to Z world on sat in the snow, so should be interesting, i was just looking at your car, is alomst identical to mine, :-) ive got a black SWB TT with black wheels 99 spec front and rear and high level spoiler, quick question mate, how many miles do you get to a tank in your car? i struggle to get over 200 and wondered if the spoiler wheels and being a SWB were a factor?

damm it, thanks craig. do you know if this is necessary for a coolant flush?

can anyone instruct me on how to empty the coolant overflow tank at the front of the engine bay, i want to do an entire coolant flush but have no idea on how to let the water out. having some troubles with air vents blowing warm and not hot. and in this weather thats bad news.:drool:

LMAO @ AlanZ, spare set of pants comment. sure give me a txt whenever alan im sure you still have my number, but unfortunately as i told you when we met i dont have your new one. but yes, would love that drive, that is a good price on the 600z, but i dont want to go too far up the HP ladder, 500 is about max for what i need. but again this wont be for a few months, until i find the exact tubs to buy, as the t28s are a good upgrade, but im ready for bigger and better this time.

hey alan, is you car in the region of 500bhp? only reason i ask is you have the turbos that id like to invest in, and hoped on a real opinion on them from someone using them in the UK, that i now know :-) also whats the spool up like, and is there much lag? Aaron.

got an apexi... dont think its all that, cost a bit, but not too different id say, so was wondering if the dual had a benefit. other than saving 50quid..

coilovers on mine, its lowered but tastefully, they are a great upgrade but mine are hight and dampening adjustable.. i strongly suggest them, the red one is too low IMHO looks silly.

worth doing. but i dont see 18 let alone 27, MID WALES it does run at 13 PSI max'd out with the boost controler off, but with it on i can set the boost level. and i can also tell in real time how much boost i am using, so yes i can keep it under 10psi or even 5PSI when i want, drove the ting off boost for a full tank just to see, and it still only managed about 190 something. nevermind though.

i take it, it wasnt an 'airfield' as its unmentioned. we can all do stupid things on the motorway when their clear, but i choose not to rish my safety or others, hence wanting to do it on a proper facility. its really not worth it on the motorway as its so f*kin dangerous, and you will not have enough road/ smooth surface to generally get the top speed. just for some bragging rights, no thanks. LEO- been there on a trackday for my birthday, drove a lambo gallardo and a ferrari 430 was AMAZING, lovely track and a beautiful straight. got them both past 160mph comfortably. but want to try the Z, its quite well modded, and would love to know its actual top end.

Does anyone know of any? ive seen a few on youtube and would be interested in doing one/two, just to feel the full potential of my car without too much risk, and find the actual top speed! im typically looking for a top speed event, pretty much anywhere in the UK i've seen Bruntingthorpe do one, but cannot find any info on days/dates. top speed runs/ not trackdays please. thanks.:cool3:

have to, like using it daily and with a 70 mile drive a day, it gets to be an expensive hobby. in terms of SPG (smiles per gallon) i am very satisfied, i dont smoke or drink, so thankfully the only wasted money i spend is on fuel :-) Leo- my car only has t28s, not much larger, but hey, like i said, im not here for an arguemnt or to be akward, sorry to all that have deemed my comments as rude/abrupt or whatever, they're not intended that way. hope were all cool within this small 300z community!
