  1. It only takes one small **** up...and it could all go wrong
  2. Now don't take this the wrong way fellas, and this is in no way directed at either the buyer or the seller in this instance but I'd just like to make one small point if I may, regarding people not being able to deliver items that have been paid for due to various reasons. If somebody has paid for an item in good faith and then the seller falls ill, a relative falls ill/passes away or they are abducted by aliens etc etc, I for one am quite willing (as the buyer) to let things ride until the sellers personal circumstances have improved somewhat (or until the aliens drop him/her back off at their house). However, unless the seller happens to be a super secret squirrel working for Box and is on 10 minutes notice to move as part of a Rainbox 6/Team America joint international counter terrorism operation, then the whole excuse of 'working overseas' is not good enough. If you know that you are going overseas then plan accordingly or if you happen to find yourself overseas having genuinely forgotten to post something, then you simply ask somebody else back home to post the item for you. This kind of thing (and again not aimed at anybody here) really grips my ****ing shit!
  3. It's weird how some companies can get things to you qiuick and others can't. I ordered some parts from a UK based company last night around 7pm and they arrived just before lunchtime today (via Parcel Force)
  4. I think they're about 5 hours behind, so 4pm Tuesday (our time) would have been about 11am Tuesday (their time)
  5. What time on Tuesday did you place the order mate? I've got some bits coming from New Jersey express delivery, they were shipped on Wednesday...just trying to determine the liklihood of getting them before the weekend
  6. Personally I'd lose everything off the arse end, as in my view the spoiler is way too small, the rear lights don't suit the car and the rear bumper valance (or whatever it's called) needs to be modified as you have already elluded to mate, the fins just don't work. The front end looks tidy, I think the front bumper and border type wings work pretty well together but the scoop is a bit of an un-known, if it proves to be of benefit then yes keep it but if it serves no real purpose then mag to grid (get rid!) and replace it with something else that does. The side skirts seem to flow quite nicely from the front end but I can't really tell from the pictures above (I'll have a flick through your other thread but initial thoughts are that they work well with the front) Those are my thoughts mate
  7. It's karma mate, she's just kicking your ass' for having a streeto fettish
  8. If you could mate cheers again my appologies mate, that's what happens when two laptops are being used in the same room
  9. Oops wrong thread mate, my appologies....this was meant for the pink zed in Gary's NI post I haven't touched a drop since 23rd December last year
  10. I agree, I think the AEM TC programme is a half ass'd attempt and far too many variables to be 100% It does seem more like LC than TC
  11. Looks like the AEM works differently in that it doesn't use sensors but instead using Speed vs RPM and Gear calculated speed, from a pre-determined set of parameters under ideal conditions. The AEM Universal box uses engine acceleration as the basis for TC. I was going to cut and paste from the software manual, but it's long and full of tables/maps. The downside is that maximum acceleration under ideal conditions is logged and used as the basis for TC tables and sensitivity. It seems like this can change with different tires, gears, surface conditions. So, TC probably needs to be tweaked when major traction upgrades or downgrades occur. The good news is that AEM TC works on damned near any vehicle with or without wheel speed sensors. From AEM: Traction Control Tuning Procedure 1. If the vehicle has a manual transmission with no gear position sensor, use the TC Gear Ratio option and define the Gear Ratio Table as described above. If the vehicle has an automatic transmission with a gear position sensor, select the option TC Gear from Sensor. 2. AEM recommends starting with the following options settings for calculating Raw Engine Acceleration: TC Speed/Time = ON TC Timebase = OFF 3. With the option Traction Control turned off, log the parameters Engine Accel raw and Engine Speed under hard vehicle acceleration through each gear with optimum traction conditions. 4. Review Engine Accel raw to determine a maximum acceleration rate. Define this value using the option TC Max. 5. Use the sensitivity tables to adjust the acceleration sensitivity at varying engine or vehicle speeds. If vehicle speed is used, the option TC vs Road Speed must be enabled. The parameter Engine Accel Rate can be viewed or logged to see the results. 6. Once the sensitivity tables are defined and a good signal for Engine Accel Rate is established under optimum traction, define the trip tables. This should be just above the values for Engine Accel Rate under optimum traction conditions in each gear. 7. Start with the TC Ign Retard option by defining the amount of retard (20 deg is a good starting point). Define the TC Ign Retard Resto option (2 deg is a good starting point). These settings will retard the spark timing 20 degrees when the trip limits are exceeded and will restore the timing 2 degrees per engine revolution when the accel rate falls below the trip limits. 8. Enable traction control by selection the option Traction Control from the option list. I'd use the launch control function maybe but this ^^^^ seems like it could open a whole can of worms under different conditions
  12. Is that traction control or launch control? I'd best go and take a look at the manual before taking the plunge I reckon..
  13. I bet the owner thinks that's a forged lump in there aswell :whistling:
  14. Interesting list mate....though it does look like it was compiled by somebody who knows more about crack pipes than V6's
  15. Ok I see, what if the car doesn't have ABS (ie. NA)?
  16. I see so this'll be fine with both stock ECU and AEM EMS?
  17. Next question, AEM make reference to the possibility of having to replace the CAS Disc... anyone done this yet?
