  1. deffo be interested m8, plus will pay you the extra for recorded or whatever as i seem to remember you had a nightmare with royal snail last time and cost you money?
  2. didn't know they came with a standard alarm?? unless uk ones do??? if they don't it sounds like an older alarm and you will be hard pushed to get a replacement fob, and deffo never heard of a universal one
  3. did you say you had your zx in storage a good while?? id say its the change in temp' or some condensation got inside and heat from your lights has cracked them, as above not a lot you can do now m8
  4. as i said above m8 we will never agree but unlike you who wouldnt vote labour WHATEVER they did, if i honestly thought a party was going to improve the things i had issues about i would vote for them, but under tories we had high interest rates, repossessions, negative equity, high unemployment, pitiful pubic services, disgusting waiting list in the nhs etc etc, and so far ive heard nothing to say we won't be going back there not sure how you reckon poll tax was fair, when i would be paying the same as david beckham, and the tax itself cost 1.5 billion to administer, and hundreds of thousands of people couldn't afford to pay it, any tax is going to be unpopular, and lets not forget council tax is set by the local council (some tories) not the goverment, I THINK at the end of the poll tax there was an estimated 18 million non-payers, or was that the unemployment figures under the tories lol
  5. remove the speed convertor m8 and see if it still does the same, gives you a start point
  6. umm no its just you lol, your actually beginning to sound like a politician now yourself, in this thread you blame blair for rover, in another part of this forum you said ROVERS MAKE SHITE CARS, AND THE FACT THEY HAVE GONE UNDER IS THEIR OWN FAULT, and i think most people agree with you on that ??they have already said taxes will rise, who is they?? if you mean labour they have actually said the opposite, and said "the basic rate of income tax will NOT rise" or do you mean the tories have said labour will increase taxes?? whoever gets in there will be some tax rises somewhere, to pay for all the crap they have promised in this election, if the tories had not got michael howard in charge i think they would be a serious alternative to labour, the fact that he was the main man behind the poll tax send shivers down the nation, funny how you have brought football into this because MOST people have their own opinions about which party they support, and like the team they support your not going to change it. I look in my drive and see 3 cars and a lot of people on this forum are running 2/3 cars, and thats a way of life i never remember under the tories, yes theres loads i don't like about labour, same way theres loads i don't like about the team i support, but i have to believe they are gonna get it right, and one last thought david kelly broke the official secrets act end of, his wife blamed the media, and i wish i was under stress earning over £60,000 a year
  7. ?? why would that be, a prick is a prick red white or blue, the most important thing is he won't support a blockade, something he helped start last time then caved in after a week, not a coincidence his family were not best pleased with him that it had cost them over £10,000 in the family business i make no secret i hate the tories, but if there was a sensible alternative to what we had now, id be the first voting, labour has its fair share of pricks, but i for one don't intend to bend over to receive another good shafting by the tories
  8. try here first m8 http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=33367&highlight=electric+seat
  9. and THAT sums up the tories in a nutshell, the farmers hated him, the hauliers hated him, memebrs of his own family hated him, and they all thought he was a prick so what does he do?? becomes a tory :xxx:
  10. ????????????actually thats what most people do, you go to a garage and get scammed you certainly don't go back years later even if it changes ownership, and the tories have slightly changed ownership, but problem is the shite mechanics still wield spanners, michael howard was an apprentice under thatcher, in the last tory election the tories themselves voted howard 5th OF FIVE, and decided hague was the man, now suddenly he's the answer to their prayers??ffs if anne widdlecombe thinks howard is a joke what chance have they got of being elected??????????????
  11.
  12. spot on m8:) i will never pretend to understand the subsidies farmers receive and WHY? if i run my business, and it meets hard times would the goverment pay/help me? or pay me not to produce my goods, if i ran a kennels and all my dogs died of a disease would they compensate me (yeah right) so why did the farmers get compensation during the foot and mouth outbreak? as sad as it was and no doubt it wrecked some areas, you or me would have to have insurance to cover ourselves, as i said i don't understand half the reasons they are given TAXPAYERS money to run their business's, but a farmer would be the last person i would be following into any dispute:( as for lowering fuel tax, can't remember the last time any goverment lowered a tax on ANYTHING, so can't see that happening, they will freeze it maybe to hopefully keep us all quite, north sea oil was supposed to be our godsend, and what do we do EXPORT IT :headvswal
  13. yes agreed something needs to be done, but imo far from the right time as goverment has now been dissolved, so any matters of policy can't be taken up until after the election, so what are they going to do blockade until after may 5th?? who are they going to threaten labour/tories?? should have been done weeks ago if it was going to have any effect and to make them worry about their jobs, what are the goverment going to back down from?? and to be honest i can't see any of them promising to cut fuel now with the pie in the sky policies theyre all proposing to win the election :(
  14. a mate of mine has two cars in chester auctions and the receivers have been called in as they are a subsidiary of the Drive Direct Motor connected to rover, so not looking to good for punters there he alone stands to lose over 8 grand, a big house of cards is about to collapse i reckon
  15. advice lmao, really original your crack about the name, gets boring after 30 odd attempts, and can assure you "posh totty" is the same as any other, i didn't realise when i posted i had to have your opinion or none?? i shall send my posts for your approval in future, (now thats why charles married her is it :nelson: )
  16. how the **** anyone can think vbh is sexy???????????? you need to get out more lol she talks out the side of her mouth like a bad dummy last night she had me in stitches, "drive faster mummy" "change gear mummy" when she drives the car goes left, she leans left, not sure if its the weight she carrys up top, or she thinks it helps lol
  17. lol no need m8, ive been through quite a "few" units the s3 on its own won't catch everything without the radar detector m8 ie it doesn't detect radar, this means that it won't warn you against temporary speed cameras (mini-gatso) and some police speed traps, that use a radar gun, like any gps system it will only detect those cameras on the database, and LASER not radar but you have to decide what you need it for and what protection you require AND the cost, im currently running about a grands worth of gear in mine but still don't consider myself flameproof;)
  18. careful m8, the s3 only has all round protection if you buy the laser add on so makes it a bit more expensive, it IS worth paying the extra you really do get what you pay for, and not seen any of the cheaper ones that are worth the cash, have a look through some of these, it makes it clear what does what http://www.radardetectors.co.uk/police_speedtraps.htm
  19. lol sounds as good as going to bp and asking for your money back cos you didnt get the mileage you expected, take bigroys advice
  20. sounds like the ptu m8 will give you intermittent problems like that, most obvious place to start
  21. got to love these wannebee actors they crack on they doin't know anyones coming, what the hell do they think a cameraman is doing inside their house when the doorbell goes?????????? lol the woman on now with the honda, threw an absolute wobbler when he knocked on the door, even though he was outside for 10 mins, making the alarm go off every 10 secs, so she's either deaf, or in training for a bad american sit com
  22. no slagging m8, but your first statement said it, A FEW YEARS BACK, if you read the post in the private quite a few of us said we had rovers and liked them, but they've not moved forward, which of todays rovers would you buy to get the same drive quality as your OLD one??????????
  23. And therein lies the problem, we complain when the goverment tax's the *****cks out of us, or sticks it's nose in OUR business, yet the minute anything makes it to the front page of a paper everyone wants the goverment or blames the goverment for not intervening, the end of the day rover made shite cars, didnt invest enough in developement, blame the consumer for not buying rovers, but would YOU??? business is all about moving with the times and being one step ahead of the competition, rover wern't even on the same track
  24. see above m8 (sticky re rad caps)
