SuffolkZX, what does the Alcantara look like, is it a suede effect material :confused:

Ive been looking at that also, the thing is my Z is silver, I have tweed all over including the seats and I'm looking at getting stock black leather seats but I dont want black leather trim, there are that many colours to choose i'm getting pi55ed off with it. Thinking about maybe a grey trim, what you reckon ?

what have you guys used to replace all the 5hitty tweed on door cards, glove box etc leather ? vinyl ? suede ? alcantra ? just pondering on what to use

No Bilky, you don't need a de-solder gun, just heat and apply a little more solder to each joint, as for testing, I dunno, I didn't bother as mine was intermittant. Resoldered all joints and hey presto, sorted and all working

Yes Bilky, take the whole speedo out and resolder EVERY joint on the PCB, loads of em. Worked for me !

Ok, cheers for that, I know my rears are aftermarket but don't know what make. The fronts I dont know about. Any idea how much new stock fronts would be and does anyone reccomend an aftermatket type with price at all ? CheerZ Paul

My NS front strut appears weaker than the OS, when going over a speed hump on the OS all is ok but on the NS (same bump, same speed) it goes with a bang or clunk as if it hits the stopper :confused: and is worse the harder/faster I hit it. Would that be a weak spring or shock/damper. She only passed MOT a few weeks ago but was doing this before the MOT. Cheers Paul
