  2. Firstly I'd try cleaning all the connectors you can find, PTU, TPS, MAF, injectors, coil packs, the list is rather long .............................
  3. correct, compression test will show problem if liner had failed !
  4. Could well be iffy door switch, take them out and clean them if poss (don't know if it is poss as have not needed to)

  8. Quick question regarding keys. I have the silver one with 300ZX on it, it unlocks the doors but not the boot (I have to get in the car and pull the boot release). I also have a plastic coated one with 300ZX on it, not tried it yet (as I can't find the damn thing) but would this unlock the doors AND the boot ? Sorry to hijack

  11. It 'may' just need a bit of adjustment on the clutch pedal and also give it a bleed if not already done so

  13. I 'think' its a bolt on 1 piece spacer with 5 extra studs for the wheel
  14. Mark, where do you heat it ? just around the leather part or the gear 'stick' itsef ?

  16. Thought about that, I've also asked before if anyone has a good condition stock one that I can replace it with as I will need that before I go any further. Anyone got one they dont want/need for £ notes ?
  17. Its the stock knob. Have taken out the console and gaiter (as I'm replacing the gaiter). Under that is a round white plastic ring with a rubber o ring on it to hold the gaiter. Other that that all I can see is the gear stick metal rod with the knob and like a round bit of metal with a small cut out on it IIRC. do you turn this or the knob itself ?
  18. Yes mate, anti c/w, the leather has also sort of peeled away from the knob itself, difficult to describe really, as I twist with my hands the leather seems to slip around, it just wont shift
  19. Anybody know how the feck you remove the gear knob on a manwell ? I've twisted, pulled, pushed, yanked and even had a pipe wrench on it with a rag and marked it and yet it still refuses to come off. Am I missing something ?, left hand thread or something ? Help please CheerZ Paul

  23. My Z is a 91/92 TT JDM I need NSF strut/shock, I have the opportunity to buy the front struts from a NA, year not known, possibly JDM, are they the same ? CheerZ Paul
