  1. bought a bargain set of leathers off of a member on here. well over the last couple of days i have fitted them. well i can say i am totally chuffed with them, stock look but new  here are some before and after pics. there was some dodgy sticky substance on one of the seat bases but a little soapy water and some elbow grease and it came off.:sweatdrop: now can anybody recommend a decent cleaner and nourishment treatment to keep them looking nice, i do have the autoglym stuff but what do others use

  4. i had the problem with my old alloys. the nut "hole" in the wheel was too small a diameter so had to use a thinner walled socket to undo the nuts.
  5. if i stuck to my first job after leaving college i would be fabricating structural steel work, that was a great job with great money, just couldnt handle one of the f**k wits that worked there and ended up throwing my tool box at him! what pisses me off is that my boss knows that im worth more but he cannot afford to pay me more. im at the maximum pay scale in my company. so if you look at it my way. if i stay where i am i will be earning the same now as i would in 20 years! with the same people and no career progression. no wonder im so ****ed off with my job!:taz:
  6. would love my own engineering workshop. with a car 4 poster. i would do custom one off stuff for cars etc, such as fuel rails bracketry, mounts, and so on. but probably would be a side line to the more mundane customer batch work. just costs a lot of money to setup. so a pipe dream i guess!
  7. stella does the same apply when somebody i knows buys a certain make of car, never noticed them previously but once said person buys one i see the bloody things everywhere!!
  8. i hate my job, the only real benefit is i can make stuff i need for my car etc. money wise its pants!

  14. hello and welcome to the club. being a non turbo they are a bit expensive to gain power out of. i know as i have spent quite a bit for little gains, best thing first is to make sure the engine is in tip top condition, before you contemplate chipping it. get a decent exhaust and decat it then an induction kit (apexi is recommended) then go for the chip. andy p or john dixon can sort you out with a remap chip for your na, this will be a devin map. hope that helps
