  1. mill it dry. slow down the rpm , tbh its best to use a carbide insert tool as cast iron supposed to have a negative rake on the tool.. this is why your high speed steel cutters are burning out, also be careful as it can snag and lift out of the vice!!
  2. passenger side of engine back of plenum near baulkhead. left of the battery
  3. it was an arse to do as i had never worked with fibreglass before but it seems to have lasted well. boldy would be the man to make them i reckon :thumbup1:

  14. the na is a nice drive and if your not going to use the potential of the tt then sell it. you could always buy hids and the xenon inserts for the na if thats the only reason to keep it!

  20. agree with the low insulting prices. i will go optimistic at £600
  21. only bell housing is different afaik i have swapped bellhousings from a tt box for a na one with no problems. if you use your na one you have to also space out your starter motor by approx 2 mm
  22. larger clutch and flywheel causing the bell housing needing a little fettling to clear larger flywheel. oil cooler and associated pipework. diff cooler maybe. depending on age of your na larger tt brake setup tt radiator as its narrower to allow the intercooler pipes to pass down the sides
  23. z club.net is the one for all the gens.
