all my pictures i upload recently seem to be at 90 deg. they are the right way up on the pc etc, i have even tried to save them on the piss so they would hopefully come out right side up but to no luck!!! help what am i doing wrong!

as you havent had an answer this is what i did for mine.... iused pipe cleaners compressed air and jizer degreasent to clean mine. i soaked the crank in jizer , then pipe cleaned all the oil ways then blew through the holes thoroughly with compressed air,. if i had any oil residue i repeated the process till it was clean.

I had a dremel and I found it to be shit tbh. I bought the box set one from maplin with the digital speed control. It's very powerful and I used it to port my heads. The only thing is the collers which are brass do wear quite quick so a decent set of steel ones would make it spot on. The accessories are plentiful too.

I was for years and found them very good. I have only changed as I have mine on classic insurance due to having a daily driver.

Where is the ptu located? Mine ran like shit when I had relocated the ptu. It got water dripping on it and water got inside the plug and was flowing between the pins and knocking out cylinders. It's always somthing else to check. Anything other than bone dry is a problem. ..... Mine is a series 2 ptu.

Have you checked you haven't over tightened the ecu connector? It can cause it to bow and loose signal to some sensors. Loosen it off a touch and press the ends back into the plug if you have. That would be my first item to check. Then each connector in the bay.

When I researched it to fix my old gearbox. The replacement parts list required to fit the new parts as a lot had to be changed due to incompatibility it woukd be cheaper to buy a new box!
