  1. well i have just ordered the ones off of driftworks. they look the same as what i have got already but lets see how they go. another £200 gone and set me back another month from me doing my engine build, at least it clears my garage for z32bolts car so we can rip out them ol smoky turbos LOL
  2. as a twist to this i personally think bicycles should be taxed and insured, im sick of theses idiots jumping on and off the pavement when they feel like it, weaving in and out of traffic and when the feckers eventually get knocked off there bikes i think the motorist should be able to claim back off of them!
  3. im possibly in the market for a fmic for my build, if anybody wants to sell one drop me a pm
  4. I don't like the black boring covers and don't like the idea of them being uncovered, it's also a feature point of the engine and would look great with my new plenum :-)

  6. go on .... i didnt know they existed, source supplier? max adjustment etc
  7. im looking for feedback on the multitude of upper link, arms available on the market today. i have powertrix ones which look identical to the driftworks/z1 motorsport, i feel these ones are flawed in there design as the do.collar clamps down onto a very thin section of the adjuster and on my ones it has sheered off under the collar the other ones i have been looking at are the japspeed ones which are also on the z centre and were sold by 2 fast 2 cool. i prefer that design as the whole adjuster body is used to clamp on the thread. anybody heard anything bad about this type of design?? im desperate to try and get a better type of upper link arm as my z is now off the road till i do, the trouble is the second type are out of stock everywhere i have tried z centre japspeed 2fast2cool. any other suggestions
  8. Just need to ram in a real ferrari engine and brakes and it will be the nuts :-)
  9. i was just wondering why the thread cannot be split leaving the original subject matter and closing the off topic sections of it in another thread? that way nothing is deleted , nobody can argue over moderation , the guys original question is left in place.
  10. its a bit bloody dangerous tho seeing as i only checked them a couple of months ago. dread to think what would have happened if i hadn't found the fault.
  11. its a minefield i know, but needs must as i have a lowered car with larger wheels etc. my original arms caused scrubbing on the inside of the tyre, so i have to have adjustables. thanks for the heads up btw
  12. im on about the fronts jeff, they are the same ones sold on the z centre/japspeed and the clamp design looks far superior then the old powertrix/driftworks variety
  13. just to add to this thread my powertrix front upper camber arms have failed, broken at the collar which holds the thread, very dangerous and i was lucky to spot it! also its an item i regularly check ,grease etc these ones were on there second set of bearings too as the originals squeeked like crazy! anybody have any links to the meister ones otherwise im gonna go japspeed as they have a better design imo!
  14. crap parking tho LOL (JOKE) nice tidy z. shame the other cars were in the way
  15. we can only try mate :) with help and guidence from here too i reckon
  16. quick dude before you fade into the reg user background never to be seen again!
  17. if your methodical surely rebuilding a turbo is relativly easy, mark everything up, take pictures, keep everything spotlessly clean, follow guides to the letter, and get the cores balanced. reckon the biggest problem is getting them primed properly, but would assume to fill them with oil before install, once engine back in remove fuel fuse and crank engine over after a fresh oil change for a bit to get oil pumping round them properly, replace fuel pump fuse and them start??
  18. Cr turbos seem to have a good rep down this way
  19. It plumes blue smoke @ 2k rpm. Idle is smooth and runs nice on a drive, boosts fine, On overrun it puffs some smoke but otherwise fairly clean exhaust.
  20. video of smoke issue. [video=youtube_share;u67f9SbjVVg]http://youtu.be/u67f9SbjVVg
  21. My na does about 280 to a tank lol, from empty line to full, don't know what the reserve is on a na swb
