  1. Mine's about 132,000 now. She's not done that many miles this year, although combining the 2 cars that I drive I've done just over 34,000 miles since November 2001. :)
  2. My main other one is ScoobyNet!! Predominantly the Muppet Show as I don't own a Scoob but I do womble about the other forums too. :D

Adding to the list of people I have met, I can now include : Latz Mac1 ChrisC Dark Warrior John Dixon Heidi (Mrs Turbo) DaveW (again, apparently! ;)) And probably a couple more, whose names escape me - sorry! :D :D
  4. Welcome to Zed Heaven. :) Kiss goodbye to any credit you have left on your credit cards, start checking for preferential loan repayment rates now and have smile surgery to release the grin you're going to be wearing for a bit! :D Anita.
  5. One thing I will add, is that when you buy your Zed, check to see whether it's had a recent oil change / cambelt service. If not, get it done! It costs far less to do this than to replace an engine... Also, when getting the cambelt service done, replace the water bottle. It's in such an inaccessible area that to replace it when required needs the front end off anyway... :) Regular servicing, good maintenance and some TLC and these cars will last for many more years to come. :) Anita

Greetings Hoppy. Congratulations on a superb choice of car. Hope you have many happy years of motoring. But a word of advice...your bank manager is not going to like you anymore. :D :D ;) Anita.
  7. Apparently I'm an M3 driver as well....
  8. Nya haaaa.... Je comprends.
  9. It's a bit sparse, mate.... All I can see is 300ZX.... :D :D
  10. They're out pulling trees at night you know. That's how trees grow...the squirrels pull them a little bit at a time. To find a pusher, you need to find a field of sheep. The sheep are controlled remotely by the squirrels in the trees. There is always a head honcho squirrel with the stash of remote controls. Ask him. He knows.
  11. Ditto. Bought my warranty with the car - K plate - costing me £200 initially. This is for unlimited claims within the year each up to £1000 providing the car is serviced every 6 months or 6000 miles. They've had my PTU and Turbos in the 4 years of ownership, but it's always handy to have. :) They paid out with no issues.
  12. What's with the "all that warranty work"? They've only had my turbos and that was some 2 years ago... :p :p So nur! ;)
  13. Just for infor : Dunstable Nissan is not there anymore. A friend of mine went round there this morning and it is no longer operating - hence the lack of answering.... Know anywhere decent I can get a clutch done? :D
  14. :( Gutted for you, mate. Just glad that you are ok. When all is said and done, a Zed's just a lump of metal and other bits. Hope you get another one / repair your one soon. Take care.
  15. It's a good effort, but those colours are not working. They are far too dark and illegible.
  16. Very true. :) I go to see my parents in Bedfordshire every now and then, so was going to drive over the next time I'm down there. :D If you go before me, can you let me know what's going on? Thanks!
  17. OK - Cheers for your assistance, Kinace. Looks as though I will have to drive round there and see what's going on...
  18. So...no one knows? :(
  19. Or Bristol Street Dunstable... Can anyone get hold of them? Have been trying to ring them since last week and am just getting RNA. Anyone else tried or know why they are not answering?
  20. 28 but bought the Zed when I was 24. :)
  21. I had this once in a car park...I was taking someone else into town and they'd nipped into the shop, whilst I sat in the Zed waiting for them. Unfortunately I did have to park next to another car... Imagine my annoyance then, when owner of said car came back and decided that there wasn't enough room to swing his car door fully open....so proceeded to bang his door on my wing mirror  until I knocked on the window, started the ignition and wound it down. He looked most shocked as he didn't realise there was anyone in the car. Fortunately there wasn't any damage but I treated him to a few choice words...
  22. Rough deal on the Zed - did they steal it from outside your house? Best baby it for a bit because chances are they didn't let the oil heat up before ramping it all over the roads...
  23. Definitely a leak somewhere in your car... I drove my Zed all last winter - sometimes left outside overnight and condensation was not an issue at all. Run full aircon for a bit or get an in-car de-humidifier. :) Or fix the leak! :p (If you can find it, of course - it could be the targa top seals.)
  24. I personally do not own any of the aforementioned Zeds, it's true. I, for one, would be surprised to see my Zed on ANY road at the moment..... :(
