First of all, welcome to the Zed-Zoo. Hope you have many happy motoring miles. :D :D Sounds like you have a few niggly issues with your new car. First off, cruise control does not ruin the turbos, it uses them hardly any more than normal driving does. Also, it depends on what you call "normal" speeds. :D At best I've had about 28 / 29mph out of my Zed...at worst about 11mpg... :eek: :D

Because some people have less intelligence than your average carpet (bugs and fluff excluded). Pack mentality unfortunately. A lot of criminal acts are done by people spurred on because they are in a crowd of like minded feebles.

Yes - I think both cars are in Grp 20. The Zed certainly is in that group.

Can't believe that someone who's not been driving that long can call themselves a good driver... "Good" driving takes years of experience, not avoiding accidents for a couple of years. :rolleyes: If you get an NA then well done to you. Personally I hope you don't stuff it into people / street furniture / other cars within a month as you're not used to the handling. The NA is still a powerful, quick car and to even consider one this early in the game is ludicrous, IMHO. However - if you get it, enjoy it, have fun with it! :D They are great cars. (DISCLAIMER : NOT as good as a TT, though! ;) :D :D)

It is easier to replace the turbos with the engine out, yes but the passenger side can be done with the engine in, if really necessary. However, if you're doing one turbo, you should do the other one so yes, engine out.

Yes, they do have special bags. You can get them, but they are rare...not as expensive as £6K or £9K though!! :D
