Getting the clutch problem sorted so at least she's mobile again... Fitting the bumper I bought form GPS a year ago.. :rolleyes: Shox - already waiting in their box.... Paint job (possibly) And anything else I feel like at the time. :D Although, the amount of time I spend with the Zed being Oh well. :D

Pffft...well, when he brings it to Billing or somesuch or posts up the RR details, I'll believe him...until then, I shall remain healthily sceptical. :D

Well, that's the female contingent of the Zed board polled... :D As Emero and myself are the only 2 (as far as I am aware) girls that own their Zeds outright, it either means that females don't drive that many Zeds, or they read this board for a bit and get scared off. ;) :D

Of course women love the Zed! :D First thing I thought when I saw one pass me was "oooh....I want one of those!" My mum hates it and won't drive it to save her life, but for me, it's perfect. I've got a friend who loves to come driving with me as she likes the way that I throw the Zed around like a toy. Women are "conditioned" to like understated things and we're not supposed to like cars. We're supposed to like shopping and changing the colour of our nails and "sweet" cars like the SMART (hack spit) or somesuch... :rolleyes: I'm glad I don't fit into that mould! :D Anita Zed-Lover and not ashamed to admit it! :D :D :D Now...blue or red nail varnish? Thing is, Marty - I'm not so sure now it IS the clutch...something just doesn't feel right about that.... I mean, there's no noise at ALL, there's no bite and you can put it into gear still....

They replaced my turbos without a quibble and I'm hoping that they will replace the clutch, too...although I'm going to have to speak to Johnny first as I'm not entirely convinced now that it IS the clutch....

39 mph in a 30 zone... Not sure if I can get away with it...it's a company car, so technically ANYone could be driving it. I've asked to see the evidence as it was just a copper on the side of the road, apparently and also the certificate of the calibration of the camera that day. Apparently I did this on the 23rd November, but work only sent me a mail on the 18th December telling me they'd filled out the form, so depending on how long Work had this form, I could pull the "You didn't inform me within 14 days" tactic... Not sure, to be honest. Given that I was doing 39mph, it suggests I thought I was in a 40 zone, not 30....hence why I'd like to know the limit on the road. :)

My car, albeit only 9 years old, is covered by Warranty Holdings.

Does anyone know the speed limit of the A505 Luton Road in Dunstable, near Evelyn Road.... Are there any speed limit signs on the road and if so, where are they located? Just curious - cheers. :) Anita.

Emero's car, I was driving... On the face of what I've seen, it appears that while good work has been done on some Zeds, the all important checking and precautions aren't taken. There were some glaring omissions on Emero's car which is down to an unprofessional approach to repairing cars. (Disclaimer : this is all in my own opinion based on what I have seen and what I was driving at the time....)

I'm resisting the urge.... It wouldn't be fair as he's not here to defend himself....

Wish he'd post the car mats that he promised to send me from the end of November, then....and yes, I have chased him...

Cheers for that! :) Stuart - I've got the fancy gubbins cover which means that if I breakdown a mile away from my address they will take me and upto 7 passengers to a garage of my choice and thence home. Which is nice... :) Not sure that they do a taxi service to all the friends' homes, though! :D

Best thing is an instant cambelt change if you haven't got any records of it being done recently. With that change your water bottle as it is in such an inaccessible place that it's the same amount of work to replace that as the cambelt! :rolleyes: Oil change is also recommended. Best place I can vouchsafe is Grasshopper (GPS) in Lancashire. Details are about somewhere. A bit far to travel but one of the few places that have a good reputation still... :) There're 3 of us up here now, that I know about - yourself, Emero and myself. :D

True....very true.... I guess I could call the AA out for the 3rd time this year...don't want to overdo it, though otherwise they don't renew the policy claiming the car is a liability and I've already called them about mine once and Emero's when that went wrong. :) Oh well...guess that's what I've got to do... :D Cheers for the replies.... :D :D
