Thanks to everyone for their kind words....it's scary how quickly these things can happen and the potential for life loss... I'm just so very glad that it wasn't any worse than it was... Latz - Thanks for being a tower of strength when it happened... Really appreciated it. Hope that your leg isn't too badly bruised... One thing's for certain...I'm driving with extreme caution at the moment..... Four and a half years of owning a Zed and 11 years of driving and this is the first accident involving another vehicle that I've ever had. At the moment I don't know what's happening with my poor Zed...just looking at her in the workshops is enough to make me feel sick and bring it all rushing back.... At any rate I've got to wait for the assessor to come out and view her before I can touch the car...

Didn't have much chance of keeping this off the forum, did I?:) It was up before I'd even got home. :eek: Yes, it was me and Latz in my car. That mangled lump is my pride and joy. Or was. However, main thing is that everyone was OK. Something was looking after us... Thanks to everyone for their well-wishes. Appreciate it. :) Oh and if anyone knows of a 1992 onwards UK TT Manual 300ZX up for sale, let me know as I need to collect evidence for the insurance company of prices. (Edited due to confusion)

LOL. :D :D Let me put it this way....my Zed is *SO* economical that one tank of petrol has thus far lasted me...ooh...6 months! ;) *AND* she's done at least 400 miles in that time. DISCLAIMER : Ok, not under her own power, but nevertheless.... ;) ;)

What's up, James? Being in the passenger seat of a Zed is odd. Just doesn't feel right. But it *was* a nice Zed I was in. :D :D Both of them, in fact. :D

So very true. GPS is about 80 miles from me in Worcester (I think) but my Zed will be going to Johnny and Latz for her major work now. Cars like this need someone who knows what they are doing working on them and have the knowledge and professionalism to do it right, first time. :)

Test drove an NSX while I was debating whether to go for the 300ZX, NSX or GTO. NSX has some grunt but the cabin didn't feel "secure". Daft thing to say maybe, but when I got in the Zed, it was almost like I became part of it. With the NSX I felt distanced, not too mention the fact that you'd need binoculars to see your passenger! :D Never got round to driving a GTO as I couldn't see past the Zed once I'd driven that... :D

uhmmm.... :D :D :D "Best" I've had out of my Zed is 7mpg....but then I was hooning it all over the place at *cough* perhaps a shade over 70mph.. :D Otherwise she's pretty good...if I can remember that far back...usually get between 240 and 300 miles per tank of (I think) about 55 litres.... Soon refresh my memory after I pick her up tonight!!! :D :D :D
