  1. Mwahahahah! :D :p *must scrub brain of images of that...!!!* ;)
  2. Mine was just special then. :p ;)
  3. Some differences in the two : J-Spec more likely to be NA J-Spec more likely to be automatic J-Spec has front indicators on the side, instead of in the middle J-Spec does not have front bumper washers J-Spec rear number plate square, not rectangular J-Spec has better body work (usually) J-Spec less likely to have Service History documentation It's more expensive to insure a J-Spec NA than an UK TT J-Spec has electric fold in mirrors UK Spec is more likely to have leather interior (Series 2 onwards) UK Spec has heated seats UK Spec turbo gauge goes from -14 - +14, J-Spec is -7(funny symbol) - +7 (funny symbol), I think UK Spec designed to run on 95RON fuel, J-Spec does better on 97RON although it is designed to use 100RON J-Spec more readily available That's about all I can think of at the moment.... :) Anita.

    LOL! :D :D
  5. Technically I've still got a UK TT 2+2.... :) Poll doesn't say it has to be road-worthy.... :(
  6. Feel for you, X-biker... Has he done much damage to the car? Thing is, had you followed him and he *was* drunk, there's no telling what he would do to you and should you raise one eyebrow in self-defence you could possibly face charges of GBH as you followed him. Great justice system, eh? :x
  7. Scooby_Babe...you have much mail. :D ;)
  8. LOL...So we're clear, yes? Myself and Scooby_Babe are different people... :p :D :D Harve, I'll hold you to that! ;) Ajay
  9. Silver Scooby, girl - mail Harve and prove this is not me!! :D :D
  10. Ok...so I need to go back to Subtle School..... ;) Thought that the "Scooby" bit would throw you all off but noooooo. ;) LOL.... *shakes head*
  11. LOL. :D :D :D Damn...found out...and there's me hoping the writing style change would disguise me enough. ;) :p You're just too observant, Mike. :D Wait....when did I get a Scooby and why has no one told me of this???? :D :D
  12. Harve I am the Silver Scooby Driver I have borrowed AJAYS log in You never Know your luck might be in ;) If this was you then I'm sure you had a look of surprise on your face to find out that a woman was driving the scoob, and reaching the dizzy heights of over ***mph I was actually drooling over you as I thought mmmmmm very nice and then i had to turn right and you went straight on towards Amersham and waved or thumbs up... I was like "come back" LOL Anyway.................. Hoping to hear from you very soon ;) :D

    Duck Tape'll fix that. Blue Peter-stylee. :D;)
  14. Spotted on the A413 - black Zed going towards The Chalfonts and Amersham racing a silver Scooby. This would have been early part of last week about 6pm ish. No more details about the Zed unfortunately as the person in the Scooby was too busy drooling over the driver!! :D :D ;) So - was it you?
  15. That's interesting.... "micey-elf" has now disappeared from the bidding... Is someone taking the mick???! Looks a nice Zed...but if I ever do get another one then it would be standard.
  16. Although it does mean that there's someone else out there with the same taste in cars and similar user names... I am not unique, after all... :) Maybe I'm a clone...
  17. Nothing to do with me... Last thing I need is a Zed off Ebay... Pay god knows how much money, then watch that engine blow and the blue smoke drift from the exhausts... I think not. Besides, I'm Mice_Elf, not micey_elf....although I *think* I have an Ebay login of Ajay...but can't remember... Only thing I've bought off there is a titanium key blank for my Zed and that was a long time ago.
  18. Hi Mike... Mac and I have since spoken and all has been worked out. It was a shock seeing them posted but I know now the reasons behind them going up. I've made some very good friends from this forum, including Mac and I know that he would not have posted them with the implicit intention of causing hurt. :) Thanks.
  19. :(
  20. I can understand that, Mac, but it wasn't his car. Yes, we were both damned lucky but maybe I didn't want the photos going up. I'm not trying to make a big deal of this, but I do feel it was slightly tactless to post them up when you didn't know that I would be OK with it. You've got to admit, it would be obvious that questions would be asked as soon as they went up. Anyway, what's done is done, I just needed to make my feelings known on that matter.
  21. Tim, agreed - a car is just a lump of metal and the main thing is that everyone involved was OK. I am aware of the rumours and speculation flying about on MSN but as far as I am concerned, it's nothing to do with anyone and I don't wish to keep going over it.
  22. This should have been done before but I'm still feeling a bit disconnected from the world at the moment... It's happening, but I'm not participating... Firstly I need to say that I am a bit disappointed in the 2 members that a) posted the pictures on the forum and b) named the people involved, especially as it was obvious from previous posts that we were not being named. I had decided on the way home that I was not going to put this on the board just yet. Maybe I would have after a couple of days, but even now, looking at them brings it all back 10 times worse than normally. However, the decision to put them up was taken out of my hands it would seem. It would have been appreciated if I had received a courtesy call first, rather than just logging on and being presented with them. Shows remarkable lack of sensitivity and I'm sure that no one else would like pictures put up on the board of their car in such a state when they had not been consulted. They were up just 3 hours after it happened.... That said, I guess that they serve as a warning not only to me, but to others as well. Anyway, in order of occurrence.... Firstly I'd like to thank Latz for all his hard work that he did on my Zed and for taking over when the accident happened. Thanks Latz.. :) Secondly, Johnny and the GPS crew who flew about like mad things to get to us and make sure we were all right. Thirdly, to Emero and Wonk who went out of their way to follow me all the way to Bedfordshire to make sure that I got home safely. To all of you, heartfelt thanks and apologies that this wasn't up before now. Ajay.
  23. Those tyres are well and truly done for. Hopefully though, this isn't related to the conversation at Johnny's (GPS) on Thursday as there is no way on this earth that those tyres were the ones given to Emero by Latz. I've seen Emero drive and in just 2 / 3 months, or whatever it is, there simply isn't a chance she would have scrubbed them like that. The ones she received from Latz were brand new. If that *isn't* Emero's car, then fair enough. :)
