Read Me Aloud
Ah...that would explain it then. Oh, the irony.... :D My accent won't let me say "tard" for "todd". I was coming up with "WEEtoddid", "WeeTODDid", "WeetoddID" and getting nowhere. Oh well...score another point for my "odd" accent. :D

Still picking it up this weekend, Matty?

Lovely supple leather...
Promise you it's not a wind up. I'd take a photo of my tub of NFO, but it's in the boot of my Zed about 80 miles away.... :)
-
Lovely supple leather...
Can get a huge tub of neat's foot for about £6. Mine has so far lasted 3 years with regular cleaning - at least once every 2 weeks.
-
Lovely supple leather...
What I do for my seats is to use leather cleaner initially, wipe clean, neat's foot oil them, rub in and then buff off and wipe over any small scuffs, such as on the side, with shoe buffer. Keeps them soft, supple and tangle fr...uh...scuff free. :)

Lovely supple leather...
Neat's Foot Oil. Can get it from saddlery shops as it keeps the horse leather supple.

first of many a stupid question....
Yes, I was trying to remember - it's been nearly 6 months since I was inside my Zed! :D I very nearly changed it to right, too, before hitting submit... :D

Traction Control
Launch control is a very good buy.... :) I tested mine on the M11 one dark, wet night... :D :D With TC on....straight line.... Without TC on....welcome to 360-land. :D Found out my heart can do 360 beats per second too! :D ;) ;)

Interesting loophole for speed traps!!!
Apparently if only 10% of those caught, contested their speeding fines, the process would grind to a halt.... Apparently...

Who remembers when.....
You mean that's not how it's done?
-
Who remembers when.....
Remove the exhaust, unscrew all 14 headlight bulbs and make sure the wheels are pointing North North East. The cambelt is located just under the driver's seat and can be changed by undoing the 4 wingnuts and putting the steering lock on. HTH Neet. ;) :D

Aftermarket remote locking?
;) Quotes help. :D Oh dear...you're on the slippery road of "Wants" now....there is no turning back! :D :D The remote engine start is not allowed if the car is parked on the road, though, as it is an offence to have the car running an no one in it - "Not in Proper Control of the Vehicle" or something. It also won't work if the car is in gear, helpfully. :D :D Uhm...remote sunroof closing....? On a Zed? ;) The remote windows looks quite flash, though! ;) Neet. :D :D
-
Aftermarket remote locking?
Pete - alarms can include all sorts of things now, like remote engine start, remote window / sunroof closing / remote locking. :) Cheers Neet.
-
Aftermarket remote locking?
?? You mean like on an alarm? Mine locks and unlocks from the alarm fob...no need to insert the key inn the door at all.
-
first of many a stupid question....
1) No idea - mine locks on the alarm. Usually turn the key to the bonnet to lock and to the boot to unlock. 2) Lever on the left of the steering wheel - pull towards you to flash, push away from you to have continuous beam. 3) Squeaking - what sort of squeaking? Metallic? High Pitch whine? HTH Neet.

Cambelt replacement and !?
While it's out, change your water bottle too. Sounds daft, but it's as much of a job to change that as it is the cambelt...
