i must admit bumps stops are very short on these as they are! im used to working on vw's which need cutting down when lowering 40mm else you hid them over small bumps all the time!

hi guys im soon to be fitting eibach springs and kyb shocks! :D with regards to the bump stops do i shorten then 0.8 inch to match amount to be lowered by?? obviously you dont want to remove all together but also dont want to bottom out too early!!! regard steven

why new calipers?? is it that the seals are not available?? if its just the seals i can get some of them made! imo powder coat is longer lasting and alot better finish, for nearly the same cost as a pot of halfrauds paint!

hi guys, i have stripped and cleand my brake calipers completely inc splitting the 2 halfs, this is 1 so i can rebuild them and 2 so i can get them powder coated gloss black! :nana2: can anyone advice where i can aquire the small seals that join the 2 half's?????

no i didnt! if i get time i will remove pump again and repeat process for you all to see!

personaly ive just found a lot better way of modding pump, i completed it this evening! if any ones interested this is what i did! this way saves you having to reroute hose back to resevoir!!! remove pump from car and place in vice! remove rear cover from pump held by 4 14mm long lolts, leave oil pump feed in place to hold other halfs together! once you tap cover offf you will see vanes assembly, with wide jaw pliers remove centre impellor and vane plate, then remove outer vane housing all done by just lifting parts of centre spline! then refit end plate and hay presto! all that is left to do is cut union fron old pressure hicas hose, weld up small outlet hole and refit with banjo bolt! this way no hose rerouting needed and you still have fluid feed to end shaft bearing! hope that helps if anyone was interested????

hi guys i am removing hicas and cant find n/a pump etc at the moment , i like the idea of removing impellor from tt pump, can any one who has done it tell me how easy it is?? am i right in thinking if i plug inlet and outlet from resevoir, remove impellor and block spare outlet in pump (to stop c--p getting in) this is the pump mod complete?? :confused: regards steven

ill be there as long as car is finished! putting engine back in this week, just waiting for new sus set-up, big brakes etc etc! havent driven zed for year or so cant wait!! :hyper:

that sort of what im after but for z32, idealy i need secound hand pump, brackets lower pressure hose etc then im good to go! any one breaking n/a?????? :confused:

hi guys, when changing pas pump to non-hicas i understand i have to change high pressure pipe from pump to rack, can i change just the flexible hose or do i have to change both flexi and metal pipe that go to rack, hope that makes sense? as i need to decide whether to refit engine this week or wait till pipe is changed? ALSO CAN ANYONRE SUPPLY ME WITH NON-HICAS CONVERSION I,E PUMP BRACKETS HOSE ETC? SORRY THIS ISNT THE RIGHT PLACE BUT HAVE HAD NO LUCK IN WANTED FORUM!! :nono: regards steven

hi i am carrying out throttle bypass tommorrow! i understand that you connect 1x hose from matrix metal pipes to each turbo , but how best do i connect both turbo pipes to each other to complete circuit????? i cant find answer to this anywhere! have i got carried away and removed too many items?? any help gratefully recieved!

im using a good quality leather replica, as its got the same look but is a lot easier to mould to the countours of panels!! i use a dense cushioned underlay which was designed for bras if that gives you a good itea of what it feels like!! :dance: even covered centre console lid with no stretch marks :nono: or corners!!

i looked into chroming my plemumn but after speaking to 7 chromers they all said mirror polish only! the reason behind it is that its alloy! if you chrome steel itll last forever i.e harley but alloy has a tendancy to peel when very hot! because there is all ways dirt that has ingressed into alloy that youll never get out!!!! hope that helps!
