  1. I'd have had those if I did'nt already have alloys, quite similar to mine which I paid £1400 inc rubber. Kei racing d1s
  2. Not a technical answer but, I always leave in 3rd unless Im going downhill at 35 and above then I put into 4th. So in otherwords I agree with you.
  3. I'd wait and see if someone with more experance replies as I've not done too many mechanical jobs on cars (I am currently struggling like *"$""! to get my fuel tank back in but I dont think that you will need to take the tank out. I would replace with a jap pipe myself as UK's are showing age now. I have a spare 'o' ring here if you would want it as a precaution if you strip it down and the seals gone at least you would have a spare. I will try to photo for you later forgot yesterday.
  4. there is a rubber 'o' ring there but i would guess at the neck of the petrol feeder pipe, I would'nt imagine that you would'nt need to remove the tank to replace this part. The neck connects to the tank with 6x6mm bolts at the tank side but I dont know about around the filler cap. I am in the middle of replacing my tank at the moment I'll see if I can take a pic tomorrow m8.
  5. In work today it got round it would go up by £1 a litre! All the thicko's where going mental, lol
  6. Cheers Paul, Its coming from underneath one of the straps but after searching the sales section they go for under 50 notes so not too bad, would want some more straps though. Problem is I had an arse of a time replacing the strap ossosite the filler cap side and that looked the easiest, lol
  7. Foot wide wet spot in the works car park today :( When car is running I only get a drip every 4-6 seconds. When I took the filler cap off there was plenty of pressure? Anybody ever tried/recommend any chemical fixes if they exist. Cheers
  8. Happy Birthday fella!
  9. You were looking.............so your half convinced anyway :)
  10. If I could afford it I'd get one, only like the front though :wack:
  11. IIRC 3G are machined from brembo casts and 3G manufacture the slots/grooves/drimples into them. I have 3G slotted on the rear.
  12. I too am playing this on 360, but its also very good on PC. My System Specs intel duo core at 2.13 ghz 2gb ram creative xfi gamer soundcard bfg oc2 320mb 8800gts plays great at 1650x1050 dont forget unreal tournament 2007 is out on ps3 soon! Warhlwk is quite good also.
  13. Neither, traction control basically stops you wheel spinning by cutting drive to the wheels for example racelogic traction control works by stopping your engine from firing therefore cutting your power. It states it has a F28 gearbox with the transfere box removed. I had a calibra turbo some years back, it had an F28 gearbox, The drive was 60% to the front and 40% to the rear. With the Transfere box being removed that would make it a front wheel drive car.
  14. Good news on the job! sounds like you have a great career ahead of you, remember though 'say no to drugs ect.....ect....' lol
  15. I got some discs for the back and thought that it was common sense to pust the gas out towards the edges of the discs. I then bought some geniune boxed brembo's for the front and on brembo's instructions (something to read while I had a quick smoke) the groves were facing forward, I then changed my rears to face forward.
  16. I had to search it, don't watch telly, no-one seems to like her lol I'd have ran out if that security guard asked me to leave :mac1: :p
  17. I had to search it, don't watch telly, no-one seems to like her lol
